I use this foundation ALONE on my face with literally no prep or moisturizer or anything, and it's absolutely perfect. I'm a 35-year-old mom of 4, so I need something that goes on quickly, feels light, looks natural, stays on all day, has clean ingredients, and doesn't make me break out at all if I fall asleep without washing it off. This checks all boxes! I absolutely love it! It has great natural but buildable coverage. Attaching photos in different lighting and different days so you get an accurate idea of how it wears. I prefer a more natural, dewy look most days rather than powdery, so I like to spritz a little water on my brush before/after applying, and it works great both ways. I like pressed powder for the ONLY base, because it keeps the face/skin BREATHING. (Opposite to liquid that stuffs the pores, makes you look artificial and gets the skin look oily). Among the brands, MINERAL FUSION / ZUZU same to me.I don’t like the Mineral Fusion package. It is not easy to keep my nails.I have a really uneasy time to pick the color ONLINE: it never looks as pictured.My fair skin wishes a medium - lighter tone. I’ve been using this powder foundation for 4 years now. I love it. It’s buttery soft, smooth, evens out my skin tone perfectly without EVER making my skin look dry or powdery and it blends seamlessly. You can still see your skin through it which I like while still providing the right amount of coverage. It evens your skin out nicely.I never use primer, I don’t have to moisturize and use serums before putting it on. It’s my go to for every day use. I wake up and pop it on and it looks perfect. It gives me a very natural even skin tone. I use a stippling type brush to put it on. I don’t like using the sponge it comes with.I can’t recommend this powder more. Zuzu Luxe is the best powder foundation I've ever used. It feels good on my skin and provides great coverage for a powder. However, my experience with the refills hasn't been perfect. I just ordered a second one to replace the first one I got, which crumbled about one week after I received it. Now the same is happening with my new one, after having it just a few days. The one I replaced crumbled into lots of little pieces and fell right into my sink when I opened the compact. Thankfully, Amazon, in all its awesomeness, refunded the cost so I could purchase a replacement. Now I'm super careful when opening the compact, but the new one is beginning to crumble as well. I don't carry the compact with me; it just stays in a drawer all the time, so it doesn't get dropped or jostled. So I'm not sure what the issue is. The original powder that came with my compact was great - no issues with that one; only the refills. But since I love the powder for my skin so much, I'm still giving it four stars. Read more

I was thrilled to find that the Zuzu makeup compact had been redesigned. The previous design was awkward. When open, you had to flip up the makeup to access the applicator and the mirror. You could not apply using the mirror without opening and closing it. The new design provides the mirror when the compact is open. The only time you have to tip up the makeup is if you want to access the applicator. This is not an issue for me because I use a brush to apply the product. What I have ordered here is merely a REFILL for the makeup compact. It is another feature of the new design. It is much less expensive than replacing the product and compact constantly. This is my favorite makeup product. I've been using it for over two years. It goes on as a powder but within an hour, the product changes and becomes more of a foundation. My absolute favorite, go-to, everyday powder foundation! I used to use an expensive department store famous brand powder foundation, and tried several other brands too, but they all left my face to oily, didn't provide the right level of coverage (too light, too heavy, etc.), didn't come in the right color (I have very fair skin), and were too expensive. I found the Zuzu powder foundation and LOVED that it goes on smoothly, doesn't cake if you touch it up later in the day, gives a nice medium-weight coverage -- enough to even out your skin tone and hide any imperfections without looking too heavy and mask-like. You'll still look natural, only better. And it doesn't look shiny and turn orange after a couple of hours. The price is very reasonable and the product lasts a long time. I also love that I can order just a refill and reuse the compact part -- less expensive and keeps more trash out of the landfills too. This brand keeps it's products as "natural" as possible, and there's none of the ingredients in here that cause breakouts -- unlike most other brands. I first tried this powder a few months back when my skin was super dry, yet breaking out. My hair dresser recommended it. The coverage is excellent. It covers any pimples or dark spots easily. It does not clog my pores, and is very easy to remove. I also notice that it doesn't make my dry skin look even drier, which is a change from other pressed powders I have tried.The product doesn't stay on all day, you will need to reapply.
