About this item The Better B12. The methylcobalamin in Methyl B-12 is the most bioavailable form for active energy. More enjoyable than B12 shots, simply let these tiny cherry-flavored lozenges dissolve in your mouth (or chew) and don't worry-they're sugar free!. Active Energy. Biologically active B12 methylcobalamin is readily absorbed to help support the production of healthy DNA and red blood cells, supporting your central nervous system and heart, so you can keep performing and feeling your best. The Benefits. B12 may support brain cells that control memory and focus, production of melatonin to aid in a healthy sleep cycle, and the formation and maintenance of myelin, the protective layer that covers the nerves and keeps them firing properly. Heart Health. High levels of homocysteine (an amino acid) in your blood can strain arteries, leading to poor heart function. Methyl B-12 helps support the body's cleansing of homocysteine by converting it into methionine, a heart-healthy amino acid. What Sets Us Apart? At Zhou, we use only the highest-quality ingredients in a facility following GMP (good manufacturing practices). Plus, we test everything at our lab in Utah, so you can be confident that you're fueling your body with the very best. During the summer months products may arrive warm but Amazon stores and ships products in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations, when provided.

I began using B12 to relieve neuropathy pain caused by diabetes. The pain in my feet was so bad, it kept me awake at night. This product worked after the first dose. After suffering a year with neuropathy pain, I wonder why my doctor never told me about the benefits of B12. I no longer suffer foot pain, my sleep is improved dramatically. And, an unexpected added bonus is an increased energy boost. Read more
I did my research on the methyl b12 v cyano b12. I once had a dr and a pharmacist tell me that there were no difference between the different ingredients in the vitamins, they work the same it what I was told.My research prior to switch from the cyano to methyl b12 taught me that while methyl is natural and cyano is synthetic and in a scientific paper of a lot of stuff that should not have made sense, what did is cyano refers to cyanide. That is scary, it is a poison and the vitamins barely absorbed. Explaining why i was taking so much to try to get through my day.Upon immediate switch, I had more than enough energy with the scary dose I took of the poison.... out of habit I unintentionally took the same amount I was.No need to take so much anymore. !!!!!!With methylb12 the recommended dose is all I need.Never again will I get the cyanob12 and poison my body. My lab work showed my B12 levels were low. I had tried the injections several years before and it just didn’t work out well. I also tried sublinguals from the pharmacy that didn’t work. My doctor suggested a sublingual saying another patient bought one from amazon that worked well. I did a little research and chose this. It worked! The next lab draw showed my B12 levels to be on the high side of normal and they told me to stop taking what I was taking until we checked them again. I was very pleased that this product did the job it was supposed to do. I would recommend this product. Read more
I take metformin for pre-diabetes. With diet and exercise, I hope to be able to come off of it. But what I noticed after several months of being on it is extreme fatigue. Prior to that, I had been working out twice per day without a problem. Then, I started to feel extremely tired and almost ready to give up on the twice per day workouts. I sweat a lot when I work out so at first I thought that maybe I was a little low in potassium. I tried supplementing potassium and that helped a little but not enough. I got online and I did some research and discovered that for some people, metformin depletes vitamin B12 in their bodies. The research said that it usually takes longer for you to become completely depleted than several months but I decided to supplement with vitamin B12 anyway to see what would happen. I've had other vitamin deficiencies before (including vitamin D deficiency and iron deficency). My doctor said that I wasn't deficient in vitamin D but within weeks of beginning supplementation, a whole host of maladies started clearing up for me. Muscle aches. Joint pain. Depression. Within months, the improvements continued. My hair begin to get thicker when before it had become very thin - and I had attributed that to a thyroid condition but it was the vitamin D. So just because a doctor or research says that it takes several years for vitamin B12 to be depleted by metformin doesn't necessarily mean that this is true for everyone. If you're somebody who maybe doesn't eat right all the time or just started to eat healthy after years of not eating healthy or, like me, you've worked very stressful jobs for years and years, it's possible that you already had mild deficiency to begin with. Maybe several months on metformin can be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back and takes you all the way to complete depletion. I noticed that Zhou Nutrition's Hairfluence hair and nail supplement contained a lot of vitamin B 12 so since I like that supplement, I decided to reorder it and I started taking it faithfully twice per day (which is the recommended dosage). Within a few days, my energy came back up a little. I was able to get through my second workout but still grudgingly. I was having to back down on my speed and intensity. But then I learned about the methyl B12 and how it was a better and more accessible form of vitamin B12. I've been on it about three weeks now I think. The first week or two that I took it, I didn't notice much difference. Then, when I started doing a lot of work in my yard this Spring like digging holes (which takes a lot of energy), planting flowers, trees, and shrubs, pulling weeds, using a push mower on hilly surfaces, and pushing heavy wheelbarrows, etc, etc. I started to see that I was able to power through it even with the two workouts that I'm already doing per day. It really sank in how far I've come yesterday when I was able to get off work and go and help my dad plant azaleas and still come home and do my second workout without a problem. The effects are subtle at first but if you continue to take it, after a couple weeks you will start to notice some more stamina that maybe you didn't have before. I attribute to the methyl B12 because I have not introduced anything else new to my supplementation regimen. Read more
I'll start by saying that I work the night shift at a manufacturing plant. By the time my shift is over, I usually have just enough energy to survive the commute home. Now that I am taking these B12 vitamins daily, along with my improved diet, I actually manage to work out prior to hitting the hay. The vitamins taste great but with their small size, you're tempted to take more than the suggested serving. I would recommend these to someone looking for a nice, controlled boost of energy. I like this product because it gives me energy. I am going through menopause and my energy has been zapped. I tried this product hopefully but not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised by how it has given me a boost of energy. I am now on my second bottle and am thankful for this product. Read more
This is a fantastic product! I will definitely be making regular purchases of it! Because of the thyroid disease that I have, I suffer from a severe lack of B vitamins. I have tried many others including injections, but this is definitely a keeper! And a lot cheaper than weekly injections! Read more
