I bought this as an immunity booster. So far we haven’t caught anything. I add a little bit of water to my dose to thin it out and mellow out the taste. I’ve actually developed a liking to it. I’m not able to tolerate apple cider vinegar on its own, so this is a good alternative for me. Make sure to shake the bottle well before pouring. I’ve recommended this to a few people based on the ingredients. I hope this becomes available again soon.Update - After attending a birthday party with lots of school aged kids, I came down with a cold. Nasty non stop runny nose, headache, fatigue and sneezing. I've been using this product almost 2 weeks now. I wanted to make sure I gave this product an honest review, as I normally do. I already take the gummies, but must say, the syrup, I felt a big difference. I had started to get a cold, got this product on the 3rd day of my illness. I felt better 2 days later. No more sore throat or sniffly nose. The taste is not as strong as I expected it to be. My husband even tried it and said he thought the taste of acv would be stronger in it. The consistency is good. It's not too thick. The price is very fair for the product as well. My only concern was the packaging. The product was in bubble wrap, however, the cap was busted and just barely hanging on it. Got this to try and reduce my Husband's death like flu symptoms... he is our sole provider and we need to keep that man in tip top shape. We are really trying to look into more natural and healthy alternatives before heading to the over the counter medicine.PROS**- I feel like this helped reduce the length of his cold. Definitely not a cure all but I think it truly helped to reduce the length, although there was a day he was severely not well feeling and stayed home- I love the glass bottle and design- Labels are easy to read- No filler ingredients- 3 tsp max a day (3 servings)(1 serving every 2 hours) and 48 servings a bottle. I feel it's decent value for the money.**CONS- Holy crap does this taste and smell terrible. Seriously buy something to mix this with or have a chaser near by. First off, I love the glass bottle! The only little problem I had with that was that I cracked the cap somehow! I’m not sure how it happened but over tightening had to be the reason. Maybe a metal cap would be a better option? I enjoy the syrup itself honestly. I’m not a huge fan of Apple cider vinegar, so that is a little hard for me when I take the syrup. Could the amount of the ACV be toned down possibly? That’s truly the only flaw I can see with it and that is my personal opinion. Others may love it! Overall, I think it’s a great product and the price point is perfect based on the history of quality in your products. I love Zhou and I always will. Zhou Elderberry syrup is working. Both my husband and I developed fevers on March 25, 2020. Of course, we feared the worst. I had ordered this a week prior and it showed up just in time. We started taking it immediately and were back to normal in 36 hours. I heard that Elderberries are natural anti viral, immune boosting supplements. The added honey makes the apple cider vinegar tolerable. I actually like the flavor, my husband on the other hand (drama king), acts like a child when taking it but doesn’t refuse.
