Even though I saw a few what I thought were “fluke” reviews saying it broke easily, I still decided to purchase anyways. Not smart on my part. ... my daughter and I both loved this plate so much since the day it came in the mail. Unfortunately we only were able to enjoy it about a week. Because she loves Moana so much, I decided that I would just be more vigilant with her when she had the plate and take it from her before she antsy in the highchair and throwing things. That worked in theory until I was putting dishes in the dishwasher when my 2yr old came running by and was so excited by her New Moana plate that she tried to grab it out real quick without me noticing and it accidentally fell to the floor and shattered in that second. Kinda scary since she was still trying to grab it, now in 2 sharp pieces. I still think it’s such a cute plate and I would love to have it in our lives but I just can’t justify purchasing again. ***Lol 😂 let me just add for clarification that my husbands family is Hispanic and that plate was never actually put in a dishwasher cycle. We mostly just use the dishwasher as storage or drying temporarily. So it wasn’t anything about excessive temperatures or anything. Probably the best plate my 7 year old has ever owned. She asked me to purchase this plate, and I think it was like $10 at the time. I was like "seriously, $10?". Well, I got it for her, and she uses it a lot. It's a sturdy plate and you can put food on it. She's thrilled. Sometimes I'll heat up some taquitos for myself on it in the microwave. It works. Also, if you don't like your food touching your other food, it keeps the food separated. Which is awesome because my daughter doesn't like her food touching her other food sometimes. Read more

My children love Moana so I ordered one of these for each of them. They're fine for certain things, less so for dinner because they can't be used in the microwave. So, we tend to use them for snack time (carrot sticks, dip, fruit, granola, dried cranberries, etc) or lunch (cold sandwiches, chips or pasta salad, veggies). We had awful luck with the matching silverware even though it was only washed by hand so I won't even wash these on the top rack of the dishwasher. They're super cute but just not practical, and they do break very easily. My 4yr old went to pick up her plate to bring it over to the sink and dropped it, it cracked in 2 areas. So because of that I'm only rating the durability and sturdiness as 3 Stars. Read more

Is your child obsessed with Minnie Mouse like my 2 yo girl is? This plate will work wonders. She loves it. The dividers are great and she loves eating to see Minnie Mouses face. Its pretty strong as shes thrown it and the plate is still in one piece. It's a good starter plate to get your little one used to eating with real plates. Read more

We have two of these (different designs) for two of our grandkids. They know exactly which plate is theirs and they specifically ask for them. We only hand wash these with a sponge (the soft side of a sponge; not the side that has a tough surface for getting food off of plates). By doing this, and after many, many uses, these plates still look like new. Read more

I really like Zak designs For all my children’s plates, however this one seems to be made a little bit more thin than your average one, then the ones I bought previously. However this is really cute and it has a nice little grips on the side so it doesn’t fall out of my daughters little fingers. She was quite content with it. I would love to purchase more I just wish they weren’t so expensive and they were a little bit more sturdy and durable like the old Zak models. Pretty easy to clean and washed really nicely on the top rack of my dishwasher. Zak dishes are definitely my goto when it comes to children’s plates and flatware! Read more

For the Frozen plate, see the attached photo of what was sent instead of what the website says. Not a big deal for some if the child is younger, but the size of the plate is smaller due to design. So if your child is older like mine, a whole sandwich won’t even fit on this plate due to dividers. Read more
