I have a love/hate relationship with these cups. 1. They are expensive. They are a few dollars higher than other top quality cups on the market, but they are one-of-a-kind, so I thought they must be worth it. 2. They are not worth it. The straw on my first cup split at the seal after only 4 WEEKS of use and gentle cleaning. I contacted Zak designs and they sent me a "one time replacement". 3. They leak. If the seal on the top of the straw becomes split even a micro tiny amount, milk literally sprays out of it when dropped by my 1 year old. Also, for some reason, if the seal ring on the inside of the lid is not completely dry when you screw it on, milk will drop out of the lid itself, around where it screws onto the cup.I like that it's a silicone straw and only 3 pieces, but it sure has been a pain in my behind for the price I paid. These work great for my almost 2 year old! You can use them with or without the straw inside. But if you use without straw inside it does slightly leak but not a lot, just a drip here and there. Read more

Truly leak proof. My 4 yo just recently discovered blowing into the straws and has fun watching the water shoot up other straw cups. Yay for discovery and creativity. Sucks for me at clean up. I purchased these for my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son because my daughter wanted a PJ Mask cup. I am so impressed with the product. These are sturdy cups. Spill proof (as long as you aren’t holding it upside down shaking it) as a 1 year old may do. I also like that the straws are silicone. It is a little harder for my 1 year old to drink from these only because they are spill proof so the straws have a tiny slit in the center so it needs lots of suction to drink from. I was willing to spend some money for some leak proof cups because my son (19 months) has figured out how to make all his cups leak. Very durable, good material.
