I like the mirror but there is a huge problem with the mounting bracket. To mount the mirror on the wall, you secure a bracket with four screws into the wall. The bracket has 2 screws that face away from the wall so you can mount the mirror. The problem is that the acorn-style decorative nuts are too big for the the screws coming out of the bracket. To re-mediate the situation, I had to replace the screws coming out of the bracket with 4mm machine screws with 4mm nuts. Otherwise, I very much like the mirror. Read more

I am very disappointed with the quality of the mirror. There is a great deal of distortion around the circumference that leaves a relatively small amount of "usable" mirror. I had hoped that, once it had been mounted to the wall, I would adjust to the limited area without distortion. Not the case! I have owned similarly priced wall mounted mirrors in the past and never experienced this type of poor quality. I feel as if I'm stuck with it because it's mounted to the wall with molly bolts. I wish that I hadn't been a nice person...leaving a perfectly good mirror at my last home so I wouldn't leave holes behind for the current owner. Read more

I bought this mirror after breaking the IKEA one that we had. It seems very sturdy, mounted easily on the wall, moves and adjusts smoothly. This is some distortion in the magnifying side, but it's not really problematic for me. It's a good mirror for the price and I would definitely recommend it to others. Read more

I have been using the mirror for several months now and I'm very happy with it. I purchased the mirror to help with putting in my contacts without having to bend over the counter and it has saved my lower back.I didn't think that I was going to use the magnification side of the mirror, but turns out it is a big plus for closeups. The metal construction of the mirror is good quality and attractive. The actual 5X mirror is the most distorted mirror I have looked into since is was a kid going to Carnival Fun Houses. It was a waste of money because we bought it for the 5X mirror. Read more

Well made for the price. But the bad thing is that Asian countries just cant make good glass. I have researched dozens of mirrors like this one, and they all have extreme distortion, and the light reflected is abysmal. I'll keep this one, only because there is nothing out there that is better at this price range. I have a mirror that I purchased about twenty five years back.
