I, like others whose reviews I read, researched many different mirrors before I purchased this one. So many choices and they all had different pros and cons. I had a trifold mirror before buying this one, but realized I never used the two side mirrors and always used it on the highest setting, which was never bright enough even at the highest setting. There were also mirrors I looked at that used only batteries and I wanted a mirror that plugged in because the reviews indicated the batteries seemed to cause problems with the lighting not being bright enough. And I have enough battery operated things to deal with and never plan to take my mirror when I travel. This mirror is bright and the height is adjustable! I saw reviews that said if you set it a certain height it was top heavy and drifted so I was concerned about that. I did initially notice a little bit of drifting, but now it seems like once I get it to a height and leave it there it stays. Someone posted a video in the reviews that really helped me make up my mind. Once I saw how versatile it could be, I was sold. I do agree that 10X magnification seems like overkill, but better too much than too little! And I was used to my other mirror rotating completely around, but so far only rotating one way hasn't caused any stress for me. Read more

This items is a piece of crap...DON'T BUY IT! Received with a bulb that was flickering from the get go. Ordered 2 new bulbs and nothing works. Above all, had it one month, out of the box 2 weeks and you can't return it. They know they are selling a piece of junk! I even had to give a 1 star just to submit this. Where are the negative stars? Love this mirror! Had another Zadro. It was a more expensive one and the knob on it quick working. Glad this one has no knob, just an on and off switch. Zadro did repair the other one for free, which I really appreciate but it was expensive for me to ship the mirror to them so I have a lot invested in it. I still prefer this one to the expensive one. It's not as heavy. I'm in hopes that with this type of switch will not break as easily. The mirror and lighting is just as good as the more expensive one. It just doesn't have the ability to lower the lighting as the other one but I really don't mind at all cause I don't use the lower lighting. My eye sight is pretty bad so I use full light and the magnifying side of the mirror to put make up on and it works good for me. You have to get really close to it on the magnifying side but I needed the strength to see so if you have eye sight problems like I do, it should work for you. Read more

I love this mirror! It is worth every single penny. I’ve used several different lighted mirrors over the years and they have all lacked something. Either they weren’t bright enough, didn’t magnify enough or only magnified. I love that this one is magnified and not magnified. 10x is really great just keep in mind you have to get close or it’s just a blur. I like that it plugs in so I’m not changing/buying batteries constantly and the light is perfectly bright every time. The cord can wrap up inside the bottom of the base so you can have as much or as little out as you need. Great disappointment. It's not bright enough. The 10x magnification is too strong for most uses; should be only 5x. The cord storage area in the base is a joke. You have to wind and twist the cord around brackets that are to small and then there is no place for the plug, so the mirror will not sit flat if you try to also hid the plug in the base. So this thing is HUGE compared to stocked mirror lights you'd find at Target or Walmart, etc. I usually have to move it to the ground after I'm done beating my face to perfection, however it is lightweight as the stand itself is made of a hard plastic vs the usual metal stand. The close up side is curved, so angling it to a focus might be a little tricky - but fair warning you will see EVERYTHING on your face. Now the light, lemme tell you it will brighten your day up cause giiirrrrlll ~~ it basically has it's own ring light. Ya know the ones the youtube use - yeah like that. You can basically do your makeup with the lights off if you want to save electricity and just use this as a light. I love this mirror and I use it EVERYDAY. Whether you're buying it for yourself, for your girlfriend, your mother - you will and they will love it. If you like to look at yourself in the mirror - then look no further! I was very happy with my present mirror which I had for years but the light quit. Because of COVID I had to shop online. This is the second mirror I ordered, first one was a disappointment. This one has everything I wanted. Bright light, 10x, off/off button, plug in, sturdy, full size mirror. The wraparound cord storage is a plus, my old one had a dangling cord, inconvenient. Most importantly was the brightness & clarity for tweezing for my aging eyes. And it is excellent. The reversible mirror for normal use is also sharp & clear. Bought this one to replace a cheaper one that I had purchased (also on Amazon - go figure). This one seems pricier but it ultimately proved to be worth the money once I saw all the other garbage being-it has a regular electrical cord that fits standard NA power outlets (the cheaper one that I initially purchased used batteries or a USB cord.......on what planet is that useful????)-it has a pretty wide range of motion and can be easily tilted, made shorter or made higher - making it easy to adjust to a comfortable height- the light is a good brightness, and- the magnified side works really well, and enlarges everything by 10X (which makes it MUCH easier for me to put my mascara on my eye LASHES and not my eye LIDS - just because I have the eyesight of a 50 yr old doesn't mean my makeup should look like it was applied by an 80 yr old).If you're eyesight isn't great, and you don't want to mess around with batteries and USB cables and the like, or if you just want a mirror that works properly then this is the mirror for you. I searched long and hard for a vanity mirror that would be bright enough for my aging eyes to use! I had received another brand and promptly returned it, it was terribly dark and shady. The reviews on this one, said the light was likely one of the better ones and I agree. I like that this is electric, not battery. The light is pretty good and not very shadowy. I like the movable 'arm', it's quite handy depending on what you need the mirror for. I wish it came in 8 times, 10 times is a bit much, as I didn't really want to see my wrinkles that close up! Shows way too many flaws but I guess that was the point. Wish it would have continuous rotation of mirror and be a little easier to adjust in height but overall, worth it.Not happy with the supplier though. Ended up having to pay additional duties when it was showing as a Canadian supplier. Read more
