Love, love, Love these pins they are so beautiful the size of the pins may be worn by adults or a child. They will not hold the hair in place but will make a hair style look beautiful. My 5 yr old daughter wore it with her floral headband it held the band in place a few hours but kids run around and I had to fix her head band 1 or 2 times I expected that. This is perfect and beautiful. I wanted to incorporate some butterflies in my wedding in memory of my brother and mother and cause I love butterflies . These will be in my bouquet and center peice and I want to put these on the back of the chairs(maybe) for my wedding. Be careful not to move these to much cause they will break, very delicate.
