UPDATE: I have to reduce my rating from 4 stars to 1 star, which saddens me because I still really like this toy! The power button (which is the orange circle sea animal thingy that you see in the picture) is broken already. The power button is easy to use. You push it down once and it turns it on. You push on it again and the power button pops back up and it is now turned off. The problem with mine is it won’t stay turned on. I, or my kid , has to hold it down in order for it to stay on. I was resorting to putting a rubber band on the button to hold it down but then thought twice about leaving a small rubber thing possibly floating around with my kids around. I think I will just ask for a refund :(((I would have given this 5 stars if it hadn’t broke... the battery was still going strong for us after about 2 weeks of play))The suctioning of the water to make the fountain effect works great especially with new batteries! I imagine it diminishes as the battery starts to die. The water fountain effect reaches all the way to the top and performs beautifully. The suction attachment is strong enough to hold but not too strong where my 2yo can not undo it by himself, so that is a plus. The 3 different boat tiers can be combined in any way. The 2 smaller attachments can also be used by itself or on top of the boat(s) in any number of combos. The configurations over the water fountain are endless (exaggeration but you get the idea). This is a great toy! Great job Yookidoo!! 👏👏👏I’m withholding 1-star because it does use batteries (3 AAs) but I’ll give it back if the battery life is satisfactory... I will update later. So far my 3 kids (8,5,2yo) have all used it and they all love it. This toy will definitely make it into the swimming pool toy bucket too, not just for the bathtub. We love this toy so much that we bought it as a present for a friend. We haven't had any of the issues that other families have had. Ours is still chugging along and it has grown with our son from 2.5 to 3.5. All of the fun options make this toy great in so many ways. Stacking the boats is great. The little surprises that each thing does when you put it on the fountain is great. The toys individually for imaginary play are awesome. It's also helpful that you can anchor the floating island to the bottom of the tub no matter how deep the water is with the included telescoping suction cup. It's great for when kids are small and can't really move around the tub too much. It's also super fun in a kiddy pool outside in the summertime. Kids just love these toys. We have given lots of Yookidoo bath toys as gifts and everyone says how much their child loves them and how much parents love the fun and stylish designs. Read more

This was a great toy when we first turned it on. The 21-month old Baby LOVED it. However, the SOLE power switch is part of the toy and it turns on but never off. From the first use it did not work.You have to unscrew 4 screws and pull out the batteries. Meanwhile, it’s running.Then to use it again, you need to put batteries back in and it immediately turns on and screw in 4 screws and it runs nonstop until you remove screws and batteries again.We bought 3 other motorized toys by same brand (also sold at Mindware and NOT cheap) and none of them work. The swimming teddy doesn’t move his legs and he’s only a twist toy. The side mounted fountain isn’t strong enough to pump up water. This toy doesn’t shut off.If there was just a secondary parent on/off switch, we wouldn’t care that the child switch doesn’t work. Its great quality and great colors and otherwise well made, but having to unscrew a watertight compartment to turn it on and off is not functional at all. Read more

This toy is really cute and the water pressure is excellent. My one-year-old loves it! I did as other reviewers suggested and put Vaseline around the battery compartment to keep it waterproof and so far, so good. My main complaint is that the suction cup doesn’t suction even a little bit. It won’t stay put at all. We have other Yokidoo bath toys and the suctions are great. This one floats around, which is annoying. It’d be easier for my baby to push the button if it’d stay put.UPDATE 04/21/2021:We’ve been using this toy for four months now and it still works great! The water shoots up high and we’ve had no issues with the motor or water getting in. It’s my daughter’s go-to bath toy! The fact that it floats isn’t as big a deal now where she’s more coordinated. This is a fantastic looking toy and seems like it is made from quality materials. However, the first one we got worked for about 5 minutes before something went out in the wiring, even though I double checked to make sure that the battery cover was closed tightly and that the filter was clear. It ceased to work. Amazon replaced this one for us quickly. Then we had the second, which was a fun toy, but a couple of weeks ago stopped working. I thought that maybe it was because we had used it too much. So I replaced the batteries, and nothing. And of course just a little while after the return policy has expired. I fiddled with the batteries and cover a few times making sure all contacts were good and the cover was on tight, but we now have a non working toy... again. We got this toy for our toddler who loves his baths. It looked like a neat toy from the pictures and description. Delivery and packaging was fine, no issues. We set up the toy just like the instructions said with new batteries and it was ready to go. Assembly was easy. (Tip: you will need a small screw driver to open the panel where the batteries go).Our son had a blast with the toy. We thought we did great. Next day, our son was begging to take a bath, because he wanted to play with the toy. Unfortunately, they toy stopped working. My daughter absolutely loves this toy!! She had the tap one already from the Yokidoo range and she spent ages in the bath playing with it. We got this one for her christmas and she loves it even more!! Even though it's a bit dearer than some othe the other bath toys I would happily pay it again as it is excellent quality. I recommended the range to girls I kept in Touch with from our antinatal group and they have all ordered some too for they little ones. Cannot recommend this toy enough!! Read more
