I have not used the gold cuffs as of yet. But comments have said that they turn black. As I am big on the silver, I like that I have the option to change it up. The Cons-The cuffs are reusable but careful the silver and gold cuffs are thin, soft, lightweight aluminum. They are easy to open and close with your fingers but bending it many times, will break (from opening and closing). It is stated in the notes that it could happen. It is true, it happened to me.  The Pros- The set comes with a transparent box,two threading tools are sent for you for free. It gives your braids (hairstyles) the perfect look, a great accent to your braids. People have given me good compliments on the look. I love the look of the pieces before wearing them. After about 3 days the finish comes of and they are a dull dark brown instead of vibrant gold. I also think you should add some silver pieces to go with the silver rings. Overall I think they are good for one time use and not long term. The color usually doesn’t last for 7 days.They ornaments are sturdy except for the crowns. I am glad that the crowns are adjustable though.I’d say they can be time consuming trying to close the rings back without overlapping and fear of face scratches later. Perfect for an updo style, but I tend to wear my hair down.As far as value for my money. The filigree clips are pretty thin. They break easy. But this is a blessing if you have one tangled in your hair. Just don't use these around small children. The decorations can get pulled out occasionally and you don't want little hands to find them :) Read more

The only thing that was useful about this hair bling was the little spiral thingys. EVERYTHING else in the pack is completely useless. The strings were broken upon receipt. The little round things are so cheap they break with you try to open them. The once that don't break do not stay in your hair passed 24 hours. There are way better options out there. Read more
