Can was dented on top.Says it is real talc but seems sketchy to me, just really do not like the graininess of corn starch based products so went trolling for an alternative. My opinion is just that: my opinion. Your mileage will vary. I love Yardley's Imperial Sandalwood, so I expected to have similar results with this product, but I didn't. I loved the scent of it, but it doesn't last very long on my skin. The price was certainly right, though (@ ½ the price of the Sandalwood). I wound up mixing this with Caswell-Massey's Newport cologne in attempt to reach some kind of balance or Armani Code, but those two quickly dominated the Gentlemen Classic. I guess you get what you pay for in the end. Obviously, I won't be being this again, although I'll be buying Yardley's Sandalwood talc until the stop making it ( or I die, which ever comes first). Purchased this powder 2x now. The second purchase smells nothing like the first purchase. I really liked the first order. The second order smells more like something my grandmothers would use. The package comes postmarked from India (customs stamp included), which should be ok (India has a history of supplying good spices), but the variability I've encountered makes me doubt the source. Nice fragrance. Manly and not at all like a baby powder scent. Silky smooth as it is real talcum powder. Long lasting dryness and scent. It's a small can but it's full of powder not air like some other brands and a little goes a long way. Read more

Frangrance is such a personal matter. For me, I find the frangrance of this Yardley quite nice and pleasing. Feels good on the skin and seems to wear well over the hours. Both the travel size and larger home size came from India. Delivery was quite fast (2 weeks) and packaging was protective and well done. Read more

This is not Yardley UK as we know it. A rusty tin turned up from India. All made in India. Amazon don't make it very clear where product is coming from. Will be more searching next time. This is a shabby item. I bought for putting in my shoes in the heat so may use it. Talc is difficult to come buy due to health and safety concerns I know. Do not recommend. Read more

Everything about this product screams that it is counterfeit. If it is not fake then it is manufactured to an extremely low standard not consistent with the Yardley name. Do not buy.
