I ordered this mirror when I started looking for a makeup mirror in the first place. My wife has a love/hate relationship with this thing. It's excellent quality with good bright lights, but now she can see even more blemishes that somehow I'm blamed for not pointing out earlier. Her mirror time has increased with this thing as she pokes and prods at whatever she finds on her face. I spent literally months looking up reviews on google Facebook amazon you name it I did it; and I finally chose this Beautiful amazing mirror that makes me want to do my makeup even though I have two screaming kids pulling on me 24/7. First of all if you pluck your own eye brows, do eye liner, lip liner (Kylie lip kits) or have stray random black hairs you will need the X10 magnifying mirror that this beuty comes with! I use the X5 for my contacts and eye shadow :)! It rotates 360 degrees so you will be able to use the little magnifying mirrors at any angle. The shade of pink is beautiful like a pink I phone 7. I put batteries in my mirror because it says not to leave it around water so I keep it high up on my file cabinet safe from little fingers, then when I need to use it I carry it to the bathroom counter. It comes with a charging cord but I have yet to use it. The light on this thing makes me feel like I’m a Kardashian! It is sooo bright and if you press is multiple times it dims different levels! Also there is a little shelf on the bottom to hold lip liner, eye liner, or contacts while you are using them which is so handy when you have a -6.25 glasses prescription so I’m blind with an astigmatism.Also I love wearing red lipstick but I’ve never been able to pull it off until now since I can use the X10 to make my lines perfect <3Trust me my husband even thought I was crazy for taking forever to pick a mirror out, you will not be disappointed!! It's big! I can actually see my whole face and even my hair. I never thought I was going to find a decent sized mirror again. It rotates so those lovely magnifying mirrors are on either the top (Ewww I need to work on those eyebrows) or the bottom (I WILL master false-eyelashes).It's sturdy, doesn't feel like it's going to tip over, even when you angle the mirror. Of course, it's not cat proof - nothing in this house is cat proof! USB and/or batteries for power, adjustable lighting, and did I mention it's nice and big?I am ridiculously happy over this mirror. I ordered this mirror based on the review and I just received it 15 mins ago plugged in ready to go! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The lightning on this mirror is so dim you can’t see no better than you would without one. It is a big beautiful mirror but the lights are so poor invest in a better one. Ahhh where to begin, I've never left an amazon review before but quite frankly I've never had such a disappointing purchase. So I bought this mirror partly for myself while I wait for a mirror cabinet to be fitted post-lockdown, and also, in the long run for my fiancée to do makeup. The mirror arrived and after unpacking (it was packaged wonderfully) I thought it looked quite nice, it seemed top-heavy and I was concerned about the base, being weighted enough to counter the mirror, which seemed to lean forward precariously, but it seemed ok as long as I angled the mirror upwards slightly which definitely helped! Ok! We're a go.Upon testing out the lights, they cut after a few seconds. It was a good brightness, enough to see much bettertt when it's not so bright out and to cast a different light on your face but not so much as to blind you, plus the different lighting settings were nice. This was using the supplied cable and a battery pack as I don't have a regular socket in the bathroom. It cut, almost immediately, I tried it with the regular and faster charging port on the pack, nothing. With a different cable, and then wall sockets, nothing, just 3-10 seconds, of light before it shut off. No matter how fast you are doing makeup, even 10 seconds is ridiculous. And it's not that you just had to turn it on again with the on button, I had to physically remove the whole cable and reinsert it just to get it back on. In a last ditch effort to see if it could work, I decided to order batteries, a week later they came with my shopping, I tried them, now nothing worked at all, batteries or cables. I was beyond frustrated.Well that would have been all, but at least I had a functioning mirror, which was the most important thing, the light was just a bonus. I hate returning things, I'm disabled and due to the current situation don't have help to get out and do things, it's always difficult and painful. I decided that largely this was fine, disappointing but fine. Well after having tested everything, I forgot to angle the mirror backwards, overnight, unprovoked, in a room on its own, on a table with no disturbances, the mirror fell forward onto the desk it was sitting on and cracked. Again still functional but hardly the attractive and useful mirror I ordered.I'm so frustrated at this whole experience. I should have just tried to return when the lights didn't work, rather than giving them the benefit of the doubt, and now I can't do anything. Maybe I got a faulty unit, physically or electronically, I hope so, because so many other people had such good experiences, but I'd personally avoid this product if you need something easy/simple. When it arrived we plugged it in to try it out and were quite impressed. Good size mirrors, well laid out, quite bright.A couple of days later we took it to where it would sit, plugged it in, and no light.There's a little LED next to where the USB lead plugs in showing that it's getting power, but touching the on switch now does absolutely nothing.So this mirror lasted all of one use.Add to that the fact that there is no replacement option, all you can do is return it at your own expense with the refund on the shipping capped at £11.50, a company that ignores my email trying to resolve the issue, and you have someone that will not be buying anything from this company again.
