Got this 2-4 year old sleep sack for our 16 month old baby who is huge. He’s probably about 27 lbs and 35ish inches tall and is wearing 24M/2T from Carters and Baby Gap with some wiggle room, for reference. The sizing is fine, with lots of leg room and length to grow. He can stand up in his crib still, which I appreciate. I keep the snaps at the armholes snapped (making the hole smaller) but I am guessing those will be unsnapped soon.The fabric is super heavy and sort of stiff in a good way. The zipper begins under the left arm and finishes at the feet when closed. I love that the zipper ends are covered with fabric too.This sleeping bag came in a really charming box. Functionality is great - we have 1 at grandma's house and it turned a 45 minute nap into a sometimes 4 hour nap. I will say our son sleeps hot and I think if he didn't it might not be warm enough. We have a smart space heater that ensures his room stays above 67F and we typically keep the house around 70F.I docked a star because the gray is 100% tan (not even in the gray family). I took this sleep sack out of the packaging and put it straight into the wash with the other laundry. As I was moving everything to the dryer I noticed a burnt plastic-y smell - it wasn’t until I picked up the sleep sack that I realized it was the cause of the smell (it had made the rest of the load smell slightly bad). I put it back through another wash cycle on its own and it still smells almost just as bad. Not sure what to do as I don’t really want my son sleeping in it if something might be wrong w it…UPDATE: it doesn’t smell nearly as badly now that it’s dry. My son is using it and fingers crossed the smell goes away after a few more times through the laundry.Other than the smell it’s a great sleep sack, particularly for a HUGE 23 month old, who no longer fits into almost every other brand of sleep sack! I have tried so many sleepsacks, and this one takes the cake. I loved the Burts Bee's Beekeeper sleepsacks for my daughter's daytime naps during the warmer months (they're so soft!) but they don't make a bigger toddler size. I ordered a Halo sleepsack in the bigger toddler size and it just wasn't very soft and, frankly, I didn't love it. Then enter this sleepsack. I used to use two separate TOG ratings for day / night sleep but this one is perfect for both! My girl usually wakes up with her head soaked in sweat after naptime and she doesn't anymore with this sleep sack. It really does help regulate her temperature better. At nighttime, it is perfect in her room which is about 68-70 degrees (she wears long sleeved pajamas also). I was really hesitant on spending this much but this thing is really wonderful and will last for a long time! Don't doubt yourself any longer, just get it! Read more

My two year old son has slept in a Woolino sleep sack for 1.5 years now; just moved up to the toddler size one. We're in a somewhat warm climate, so only use it 3 seasons. It's beautifully made and very soft. My son loves it. We put his "blanket" on before reading books at bedtime. I like that he can move and walk around in his crib with no problem, but could not climb out of the crib - in fact, I don't think it's ever occurred to him to try. Our 2 year old asks for it at naps and bed time. Nice thick, quality materials. Stands up to many washes. I can't stress enough that WE all sleep better when he wears it. unlike a blanket he can't kick this off and wake up because he is cold. It is not restrictive for him either. I was unsure about buying this product because of the price really.. I have purchased similar items in the past when my child was a baby and he used to find them too hot and didn't like his feet covered. However, for the past year (he is almost 4) he has been waking up in the night because he has kicked off his blanket.. prior to this he had not slept through the night for 2.5 years... So when he slept through it was amazing..to then revert back was really tough.. in a desperate attempt to find a solution I purchased bigger blankets, hooks to tie the duvet to the bed, wrapping the covers and he still kicked them all off and I ended up putting him in bed with me..which helped him, but I still woke up several times to cover him up and then he sleeps sideways, I get kicked.. you get the picture.. with hesitation I went for this sleep bag - I did show my son and asked whether he wanted the feet out or in and let him choose the colour. I can not tell you how pleased I am, he loves it and just sleeps for hours and hours.. 12 hours.. I'll have to see how it goes as it gets colder but I am pretty amazed considering previous attempts.. I just need to work on having him fall asleep back in his own bed!! Read more

Mio figlio ha sempre dormito nel sacco nanna, dal suo primo inverno.Per lui, che si muove molto di notte, è la soluzione migliore, perché rimane sempre coperto e non prende freddo.Il sacco che aveva in precedenza prevedeva che indossasse solamente una maglietta sopra l’intimo. Questo sacco nanna, invece, per la temperatura di casa nostra, sui 20 gradi, prevede l’utilizzo del pigiama a maniche lunghe.I primi tempi dopo il cambio dal sacco nanna precedente (del tipo classico, di cotone con imbottitura), mio figlio aveva freddo e dovevo lasciargli le calze e aggiungergli una coperta leggera. Ora lo indossa senza calze e la copertina non serve più. Non so se questo sia dovuto ad un rialzo della temperatura in casa o all’abitudine, vedremo cosa succederà il prossimo inverno!Per il resto, ritengo che sia di ottima fattura e mio figlio lo indossa volentieri, fa parte del suo rituale per la nanna.Ero indecisa se acquistare il modello con i “piedi”, ma poi ho deciso di seguire i consigli di alcune delle recensioni, che dicevano che i bimbi riescono comunque a camminare con il sacco “chiuso” ed effettivamente è così!È di dimensioni generose, quindi credo che lo potrà utilizzare ancora per molto tempo.Da tenere presente la gestione del lavaggio: dato che ha la lana il produttore consiglia il ciclo delicati con centrifuga blanda, che lascia il sacco molto bagnato, il che richiede tempi di asciugatura lunghi e in orizzontale. Sempre secondo le raccomandazioni del produttore, può essere asciugato asciugatrice con il ciclo “senza calore”, che, ignoranza mia, non ho mai sentito nominare e che la mia asciugatrice non ha.Nel complesso abbastanza soddisfatta. Nachtrag nach mehreren Monaten Gebrauch: sehr schöner weicher Schlafsack, Kind liebt ihn. Für warme Temperaturen ist er für uns nichts, da brauchen wir ganz dünne Schlafsäcke. Ich würde sagen, er funktioniert maximal ein 3/4 Jahr. Dennoch 5 Sterne, da er sehr hochwertig ist und die Qualität nach dem Waschen behält.Ich habe diesen Schlafsack neu, spontan finde ich ihn toll, sehr schöne weiche hochwertige Qualität. Die Farbe grau hätte ich etwas anders erwartet, es hat einen Touch von beige, aber alles ok und trotzdem schön. Bisher von der Paßform, Qualität und Wohlfühlfaktor her 5 Sterne, ob der hohe Preis sich auf Dauer rechtfertigt, muss man sehen. Read more

I purchased this for my now 2 year old as he outgrew his smaller size. It was great to not have to worry about him being uncovered at night. I also agree with other posters about the double zipper and how the bigger sleep sack doesn't have it. nIt is too bad that now that my son is older, he doesn't really like being constrained in the sleep sack so we are not really using it anymore. I wish I bought the sleep sack with the feet instead. Read more
