I bought this mainly as an introduction to the use of LED infrared therapy. I have been using incandescents for many years, and this is my first venture into the new technology of LED infrared. As such it is well worth the price. I am using it for providing infrared therapy for targeted areas of my body. for its ability to provide therapuetic benefits. I also use a panel type device for whole body treatment, but I recommend that the ideal is to have both a small handheld device like the Wolozek and a larger panel device. I thought the therapy glasses comes with it. I use my on suntanning goggles with cotton pads but my eyes Are hurting from the light. This company says they will send me free therapy glasses OR a light socket AFTER my review for free as a gift. How am I supposed to give an accurate review without both of these things 😖. I love that this red light bulb comes with a lamp holder and protective eye goggles! Much more stable and easier to use than my previous set up. I use it for ATP production, pain relief, and to grow scalp hair. It took me a little whiled to have a continuous usage of the product. It takes a little to see results, but it gets there. This lamp in specific has very good price for a product that works so well. I bought this light for my husband because I had read that some people find relief from Post Herpetic Neuropathy by using red light therapy. It's hard to say whether or not it has helped him heal, because we are trying so many therapies simultaneously (the pain from PHN is horrible), but he definitely found it soothing and loves to use it. The surprise is just how much our cats love it! It is aimed the the arm of a recliner chair, as as soon as I turn it on, they race to be the first one to stretch out under it! The pictures are of two different cats (hard to tell because of the lighting). Come to find out, red light is beneficial for pets as well, and it certainly seems like they know it! :) The bulb is VERY heavy, by the way. Good to know when looking for a fixture for it. Read more
