Do NOT believe this seller ... these are NOT Egyptian cotton and certainly not 600 thread count!! I immediately knew these weren't what the seller claims these to be the moment I pulled them out of the package. The worst pillow cases I've ever purchased. I know what Egyptian cotton feels like; it is the kind of cotton I buy if I choose cotton for my bedding. Even in lower thread counts, Egyptian cotton is very soft and comfortable. Sateen weave should look glossy, and at 600 thread count, should not be so thin that you can watch TV through them. This is either cheap, low TC cotton or cheap cotton/blend. Once I get my pictures in order, I will update with a comparison to a "real" 600TC Egyptian cotton pillow case and show you a picture of my TV screen that was taken behind this pillow case. I didn't like the look and feel of the pillow shams. They probably are soft and comfortable, but they looked bad. They also arrived too late. I intended to use them at our vacation rental cabin. They didn't arrive until after we had already got to the cabin, 6 hours away. I couldn't return them because it was past the return deadline by the time we got back home to where they were delivered. Meh! The pillowcases are not as soft as I would have expected not bad but not that smooth softness. I washed them prior to use and they came out of the dryer in crinkled balls. When trying to put on my queen sized pillows I could hear the cases ripping. One side seam needed repair. Also, the envelope closure is not very generous. Is always open and your pillow is exposed. So...these have become my spare pillowcases for "just in case." Buy these with caution. Read more

Had bought some really nice European pillows almost a year ago. Didn’t realize how expensive the cases were for this odd size and couldn’t seem to get myself to pay the price and buy some regardless of how much I loved and wanted to use the pillows. I was so excited to find the cases at a price I was willing to pay and thought at this price they might be subpar. I wanted to use my pillows so bad so I took a chance and ordered them. Looked great out of the bag (aside from the first delivery that had stains on the pillow cases). Once they were washed, they completely fell apart. The color faded, parts of the pillow case color completely washed out (which now looks like a yellow stain), and the fabric trim around the edges is crumpled up and trashy looking. Read more

The pillows go in through an opening in the back of the sham. I missed that part in the description I guess. I would have preferred a zipper. These didn't fit my 26x26 pillow inserts, they were a bit bigger and looked sloppy. Also, these shed a lot of threads. I returned. Read more

The cotton is so very nice & soft, holds up well thru many washings. I use it on a small rectangular pillow & it enfolds the pillow inside so it's completely covered. Very good quality. Read more

Added the perfect touch. Too bad I couldn’t buy just 1, or a set of three. I ended up buying 2 sets and added one of the pillows to my daughter bed, I needed three. I love that they’re cotton. They aren’t super thick, but are holding up well and I think they are plenty thick enough. Read more
