The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for sleep quality. It has helped. 30 sounds, different volumes. When you turn the machine off, it saves the sound you have chosen automatically. This is a nice little sound machine, and overall I like it - the sound is good quality and bigger than one would expect from such a small machine. The controls are easy to use, and the variety of sounds is great. However - they should NOT advertise this product as non-looping, which is actually the main reason I chose this particular machine. The sound recordings DO loop. It's more obvious in the non-smooth recorded sounds - the ocean sounds, thunderstorm, whale song, etc. But even the smooth sounds - the white noise, rain, fan - repeat every few seconds. It's subtle, in the undertones, but it's there. I have it on rain, and the rain itself is smooth and continuous, but as I was trying to fall asleep last night I noticed that every few seconds a little fart sound came around, along with other little repeating noises. I wish I could find a sound machine with fewer sounds, but longer repeats, as I don't think a loop of 30 seconds or longer would be nearly as noticeable. Is there such a thing? Read more

So my old sound machine finally got tossed in the trash after it got dropped for the millionth time. I felt like an upgrade was needed from the basic model and happened upon this beautiful example. It's nice and heavy feeling, firstly. Which means my cats won't be able to slide this one off the nightstand as easily as my last one. The wood grain looks sharp and I like the full size speaker on the top because it gives multi-directional sound instead of having to angle it certain ways.And I am most impressed with the sound variety itself. I personally like water sounds when I sleep (20 years spent growing up by the Gulf) and the fact there is five different options for just the rain setting is fantastic. I can do anything from really serious thunderstorm to light pitter patter of rain depending on my sleep mood. I absolutely love this little machine!!! I have had other sound machines but this has to be the best ever! I have constant ringing in my ears and I have to have a fan in order to sleep and not to mention it helps drown out my hubbys snoring. When I first opened it, I honestly thought...okay how is this machine going to do all the noises I read about, it has 5 buttons a power button and volume up volume down so how are these 2 other buttons going to do all this. Boy was I wrong! I am amazed! You push the first button and let’s say it’s the fan noise...then hit the second button and keep pressing to go thru all the different fan noises. The rain button...you can have a light rain or rain with thunder, which I love, or others! I also love the ocean sounds and so many more! Nothing to write home about... I wish the white noise sound was fuller and deeper. It's borderline too scratchy and sharp to the ear. All the other "natural" sounds are useless to me so I can't comment on those.The sound I used to use from a free app and playing it through my Bose speaker was much better quality but I was wanting a dedicated sound machine so my phone would be free for other things.So yeah. Was sceptical this would be any good for the price but it is excellent . The only issue is that it is not obvious how to turn off the blue light which is not good for sleep. Crafted beautifully in a wood finish, this portable yet sturdy white noise machine is perfect. I suffer with anxiety issues and this device helps reduce that by providing back ground noise.
