I don't like paying the price like everyone else, yet I've tried several other brands and often I have one or more busted capsules which ruins the whole batch. I have been using this product since it was in the old packaging. There are people on here saying it hasn't been retested by Labdoor. Well, it finally has been, I just found it was retested in March 19. All is good if you trust Labdoor. I've never had a fish pill that didn't give some sense of fish burps. A couple of years ago, I was on the hunt for a new fish oil supplement that had better quality and less after-taste that I burped up. After reading reviews and quality test results on Labdoor's website, I decided to purchase this product. I am SO HAPPY that I did. The quality of this product far surpasses others I've taken and I don't burp up that awful fish taste. The pills are softer, so I find them easier to swallow. I have been using as directed since 2017, and have been very pleased with this product (which is why I have been consistently buying it for the past 2.5 years). Up to this point, the quality has been outstanding, with no complaints and great results. The packaging changed within the past year, which made it less convenient to store in my cupboard and I have not enjoyed, but the product itself remained consistently high in quality, so I continued to purchase. The most recent batch that I ordered, however, has left me questioning the quality of this product itself. Every time I take a pill, I feel sick within an hour and start to experience indigestion and (at the risk of indelicacy) unpleasant burps with an unpleasant fishy taste. I worry that the product has slipped in quality, and am unsure of future purchases. A shame considering the impressive levels of healthy fats and vitamin D, but not worth the sick feeling I have been experiencing.Update: EVEN WORSE. Reducing to one star. I thought it might have been a bad batch or two, but the nausea persisted with each new box, and after almost 4 years of using the product, I will never order another box again. I had already arrived at this conclusion, but it seemed ironic that AFTER I decided that the latest order would be my last one, I discovered that the newest box had arrived with one of the pills COMPLETELY MISSING from the plastic bubble. These are the best Omega fish oil pills I have tried. After looking thru rating sites, like LabDoor, Consumer’s Reports, and Consumer Lab, this is what I chose to try out. Remember, when trying out any Omega supplement that it takes an average of six weeks to three months consistent use to see benefits. I love that they use some citrus flavoring to help with any fishy problems. I can honestly say that despite having a sensitive stomach, these do not make me have fishy burps. I do always take these just before a lite breakfast (including other fats to help with absorption) and I think that eating helps too. These folks have a couple varieties and they are some of the most highly rated. WHC’s oil comes from fish sustainably farmed, not wild caught. While these pills may seem expensive at first, take a look at how much a cheaper brand would cost you to get the same amount of product and just how many pills you have to take to get the recommended daily dose of 1k. I used to take a different brand, that sounded like it was from Scandinavia, however, these work so much better to help keep my joints pain free. Since most people living in the northern half of the US don’t get enough Vitamin D, I also appreciate that they have added that, one less pill to take. Other things to appreciate include: vegetarian (no bovine in the capsule gel), one a day (not 2-3), rTG form, not from tuna (an endangered species), and so on. Read more

I've been taking this brand for years now and have had no issues at all. The Fish Oil is always fresh and never tastes "off". I initially first started purchasing this years ago when I read a review showing this fish oil had one of the lowest mercy amounts out of any fish oil brand. I was looking for some omega 3 supplements that I can take once per day just one pill and this was it, highest rated on labdoor test and even tho it might seen expensive have in mind is a 2 month supply one pill per day. Others offer " lower prices" and come with " more pills" but the serving is 3 pills... So at the end you could end up paying more for a lower quality product. I have to say that this is the best Omega 3+ that I have ever tried. I was looking for a supplement not only for cardiac health, but mostly because I have extremely dry eyes from an autoimmune disease, and was looking for a quality megadose pill. I perused independent laboratory ratings & this is the one I decided on. I have taken others. This does not have the horrid aftertastes. There is no need to keep it in the freezer. If anything, I get a little of the lemon/rosemary taste later but that is all, and it is pleasant. It is a large soft gel, but I don't have issues with this, but fair warning to those that might.Bottom line.... great independent ratings, a bit pricey... but you get what you pay for here.
