I have long (past the middle of my back), thick but somewhat fine hair. It is slick and I've had a difficult time finding clips that are comfortable, look nice and hold my hair up throughout the day. These clips meet those standards. I'm not wild about the pea-soup green colored one, nor the pink/rose, but it might match an outfit or be fine for around the house. It's handy to have some colors to choose from and these seem to be sturdy clips.
