I got the version for thick hair. I actually have fine hair but a lot of it. This brush is amazing!!! I have tried the "knock-off" Wet Brush but never again. I freaking love this brush!!! And for those who have fine hair that gets knotted a lot - this brush works perfect. I know a lot of people say not to brush your hair when it's wet because it can cause breakage. But I don't agree in the case of my type of hair. The best technique I have found is to brush it before I wash it. Then wash and condition. Before I rinse out the conditioner I brush it with the wet brush. With fine hair like mine it gets tangled just from washing & scrubbing my scalp. So if I don't brush it out while the conditioner is in it it's tangled when I get out of the shower. Read more

Looks/feels like a fake. Bristles are stiff and arranged in a pattern I’ve never seen from Wet brushes before. Lots of hair pulled out. Logo on handle wiped off after first use. Went to Target to buy a real one and instantly see/feel a difference. Read more

When I bought this brush I was skeptical at first. I didn't really believe it would detangle by hair let alone penetrate any knots without breaking or getting painfully stuck. Please do yourself a favor and buy this brush if you have thick curly hair. My hair is 25+ inches long and very thick but this little brush glides right through my hair while in the shower. It also helped reduced the amount of shedding I was having when I was just using a wide toothed comb before. I do use this brush to help clump my curls but because of the bristle pattern it doesn't get enough tension on your hair strands, so I'd recommend a Denman instead for that. This was described as the original wet brush so I didn’t look too closely and just purchased to replace my wet brush which was cracked and the handle about the snap off. When I received it the packaging says it’s for thick hair which is not listed on the Amazon description. I’m sure this brush would be great for its intended use but I have fine hair with micro beaded extensions and the bristles on this brush are far too stiff for my use in comparison to the original. I already had one for myself, and it’s the best brush I’ve ever owned. So, when I bathe my dog, her cottony-textured undercoat mats up badly; nothing has worked to prevent it. I was combing her wet fur out in hopes of lessening the matting; it was hurting her. It occurred to me to grab my wet brush. It’s made for just that after all, right? MAGIC! Combed right through her hair, without pulling (so it didn’t hurt her anymore), and prevented the mats! Hoorah! So I ordered her a Wet Brush for herself so I don’t have to pick her little furs from mine before using it, ha. Ordered one for my child, too! Wet Brushes for everyone. Seriously, recommend for you, your dog or cat with matting fur and/or sensitivity to being brushed, your child, etc. It doesn’t pull (and I used to cry when having my hair brushed as a kid, so I mean it!). I had never heard of this brush until I was reading posts about grooming dogs and someone suggested this brush. My boy, Bolo, hated being brushed so much that he would snap at me when I tried. If he was a child (don't tell him he's not), he would be considered very tendered headed. Australian Shepherds have dense undercoats and if not groomed regularly get very matted and nappy. I am happy to report that not only does Bolo allow me to brush his bushy butt feathers without nipping, he actually seems to enjoy it with this brush. That is second to the fact that the brush actually does a great job! I tried it out on my hair (I have almost as much as he does) and it is lovely, so I bought 2 more. Saw the same brushes at my salon today and I got two on Amazon for less than one there, so I'm a happy camper all around, and so is Bolo! Read more

So over the past few years I started using this brand of wet brush. I've loved loved them and they work amazing. Not hard on the head and removes tangles effortlessly. This brush, although it's the same brand and looks the same is harder. Thd bristles feel hard against my head and actually hurt. It gets the tangles out but not as well as before. Feels like a regular brush. I usually buy the pack of two and they're great!. This time I bought the single brush as I got my daughter the wet brush paddle. When I need to replace them I'm going back to buying the 2 pack. Read more
