I have gone barefoot nearly my entire life (and I'm getting old). After all these years, my feet kept getting drier, more cracked and uglier. This lotion is so thick you need a knife to cut it (not really, but it is thicker than toothpaste). It is quite oily going on, but absorbs quickly and actually helps! I have extremely dry hands, since I was a kid (almost 5 decades of dry hands), and normal (extreme or repairing) lotion does nothing. I can put it on and in a few minutes it is all absorbed and there is no evidence I ever used it. This lasts over an hour on me, and over 3 hours (noticeably) on the wife. This ointment, along with the Welmedix foam cleanser, cleared up my 92-year-old disabled dad's diaper rash in a few days. He had had surgery and was bedridden for a while.
