My 15 month old daughter has been dealing with really bad eczema for a good 6 months now. Cortisone wasn't working and I didn't know what to do. I figured I'd try a different soap and lotion to see if it could make a difference and stumbled upon the Weleda products. So I am an adult and my babies are grown up but based on some reviews I decided to try this as I have such a sensitive scalp. If your hair is on the dry side well it leaves your hair kind of hay like and impossible to comb thru. You really really need a detangler or good conditioner with it. I mean I think it is good but just get a really good conditioner if you have tangly hair and fine texture. Its really gentle and smells good. If you use a lot of product like gels and mousses and leave in conditioners I don't think this will remove those products from your hair. Remember babies hair is virgin they don't color their hair or use all the products we do so don't expect this to remove products or help any way with color treated hair. But if your hair is pretty natural and you don't use a lot of stuff in your hair after washing it or color your hair then it would probably be great. Read more

I tried the baby wash and the lotion in an effort to control my 4th baby's newborn acne. It also works for mild cradle cap. I now use it on my whole body, my face, and as a shampoo, and I use it on 3 out of my 4 daughters for bathing. It's just so soothing and the scent is so relaxing. The lotion would calm my young infant when she was restless. I would swaddle her and rub it gently on her face. I still use it sometimes and she is 10 months. I also use the calendula diaper rash cream. Calendula has antifungal properties so it clears anything up quickly (obviously the sooner you use it the better). I highly recommend these products. This is the best skin care product line for babies and toddlers - hands down! It smells good, but not too powerful. It has never given my kid a rash or similar, and it doesn't seem to dry out her skin. I weleda products for my baby because they don’t have too many chemicals.The 2in1 shampo and body wash is great It serves, my baby ends up clean and smelling nice.It doesn’t make as many sudds as other brands, but this is because it doesn’t have the chemical that makes sudds. Also, the smell it’s nice but you can’t compare it the jj shampo.Anyways, I love this product and everything wedela. I use their hand cream and diaper cream and other products. It is expensive but I buy it because I like to know what’s on my products and I don’t like chemicals or bad products in my body or my babys. Read more

I like most weleda products but this seemed to leave behind too much of a residue on my little one and didn’t clean enough. Caused build up on baby scalp so I don’t use it as a shampoo at all. I use it on little ones body like stomach and back but not areas where I really need to clean like rolls etc because it did not have enough cleaning power. After 7 months I can write my review. I've used this product every day since my baby was 1 month old. I always liked and used just this on her bath because of the natural ingredients. But after a while her skin started to be dry and red. At the beginning I didn't connect this with the product, I just thought her skin may be very delicate. So I just used natural oils to massage and to add in the water during the bath. But the problem became worse and worse until one day she wake up with a very bad eczema on her face, arms and chest. The skin was very dry, swollen, red. So the doctor said to stop to use this product. Once stopped everything gone in a few days. So what is the reason why my baby had this reaction I don't know, I am just sure I will never buy it again. Every child is different but this make our babies cradle cap so bad. She had it when she was a young baby and then it more or less went. Used this for a few weeks instead of our usual stuff and her head was so bad. Thought it was my diet. Partner said change back shampoo. Did that and it totally cleared. I bought this for my 9 year old son as he gets very dry and itchy skin, but now its my favorite shower gel and will be getting it for both us as it leaves your skin very soft, clean and smells divine. It makes me think of summer and beaches as it has a hint of sun tan lotion smell as well as a clean and fresh smell.
