I like these, but i wish they were properly, ACTUALLY laminated. They have a super soft, smooth matte finish to them. It will not hold up to mouthing and spit or anything, so I have to be careful to take them out of my daughters hands. Which is disappointing. I love the concept, but... I guess I was under the impression that each set reversed to have the same picture on the front and back of each card. One side with the animal on a white background and the other with the animal on a black background. I ordered the “black and white collection” and that is not the case with this set. The black background features just the name of the animal in a scribbly font.I’m sure baby will still like to look at them, but I feel like I got half my money’s worth. My advice is to buy the pets set or another set that reverses to images on both sides. Read more

My baby really enjoys these cards. The colors and patterns really get his attention. He is currently 12 weeks and has spent time looking at them since he was 7 weeks without getting bored; however, there is a lot of interaction to keep his attention. We usually use them at tummy time or I hold them about 8-10 inches above his face to while he is laying in his crib or at his activity gym.Depending on his mood, he favors certain pictures more than others, but he always makes faces, smiles, and coos at the pictures.The cards are also very well made and durable. I can tell they will hold up through all the drool and being handled by tiny hands. They are also larger than I expected--I attached a photo to show size relative to a small board book (which may have been listed, I just wasn't paying attention).I debated giving 4 stars because, for the price, I wish there were a few more cards. These pictures are very cute! You can flip the card over for the same image just with the black and white reversed. I use three in the car so my baby has something to look at while rear facing. I use the other three when she's laid down either on her play mat or when doing tummy time.One star removed because I ordered this on Dec 11 and I did not receive it until Dec 26. I would recommend these art cards to anyone having a baby. The art is so adorable and the animals capture the baby's eyes in black and white. My daughter has been intrigued by them since 2-3 months. Now at one year, she still loves holding, studying them, and turning them over. Looking forward as using them as guides when she learns to talk and identify animals! Tip: some of the packs have animals on both sides of the cards, and some of them only have the animals on one side, and words on the other. My preference is drawings on both. Read more

These are the cutest! I ordered 3 different packages to pick favorites and frame them for the nursery and save the others for the baby to play with and look at. They are very thick and substantial. I don't see them getting bent with regular use, I think they will hold up very well!The only complaint I had was the original deck had all white pictures and the opposite side has the words in black. The other 2 decks I ordered had the same picture on both sides, one in white and one in black, which i think makes more sense because babies don't need to see the animal names spelled out, right? It seems like all the newer decks do not have words, just the original one, so maybe this has already been said by lots of other people. Read more

I was disappointed after I got these cards. I didn't read the instructions well and didn't realize that the box only contains 6 cards. For $15 it's not worth it. You can save yourself some money by just printing these in a thicker card stock paper & maybe laminate with round corners.....as for my baby....the black and white cards do hold her attention for a few moments.
