I read that Manuka Honey was helpful for this sun damage related problem so I tried this balm because the price was right and the product was geniune Manuka from New Zealand. Love it! I was originally disappointed when my choices were lavender, and coconut, but decided to try the lavender with lemon, b/c I love lemon, out of desperation. I have these chronically chapped peeling lips that will ruin the fun of wearing lipstick. Nothing more unsightly than chapped lips, but chapped lips with lipstick on them. LOL I have tried so many lip balms and only natural or organic ones. I really love this product and the lavender lemon is quite pleasant; though much more lavender than lemon, and this stuff really works. BTW, I was using ColdSoreBegone because of the great ingredients, but it stopped working for the chapped lips - it wasn't softening them up any longer. This feels much better on the lips b/c it's a tad thicker. After wearing for an hour or so I can debride the loose skin off of my lips without a bloody mess, sorry to sound gross. A bit gritty feeling when you first put it on, and the peppermint is not very strong. Wish it had more of a cooling sensation from the peppermint. Seems to do the job, just not what I was expecting. Read more
