These Super Prostate pills are mostly Saw Palmetto extracts, with a few trace ingredients added (pumpkin oil, stinging nettle, etc). For men with BPH (enlarged prostate) there's some clinical evidence that the ingredients in these pills can help alleviate the pressure the prostate puts on adjoining organs, often feeling like a persistent need to urinate (sometimes painfully). However, the evidence is nowhere near as good for some of the prescription medicines in the market. Having said that, you can take these Super Prostate pills with most of the prescription meds (but do discuss with your doctor!). I've had the joy of BPH for a few years, and I take Super Prostate in the morning, and my prescription med in the evening. I am in my early 60's. I have not been officially diagnosed with prostrate issues, especially not cancer, however, I have some of the classic common symptoms of age related prostate issues. I have been suffering with BPH for quite a while..I have had surgery to relieve my symptoms once before and I am still young to be suffering with BPH. I will turn 65 this year and had my first turp more than 10 years ago and it wasn't fun. While I had good results initially my prostate grew back. I have been taking these pills diligently for more than 7 months and they have had zero effect on my suffering. There are other therapies out there besides TURP which I had and would not have done again that effectively relieve the symptoms of BPH...Don't be duped into believing that prostate pills can relieve the symptoms. At least for me these were a complete waste of money. I will be having prostate embolization done in a month and am looking forward to getting my life back. Read more

I am suffering from difficulty urinating and painful urination known as BPH.Trying to find a natural solution which would give me some relief without the nasty side effects of prescription medications such as Alfuzosin and Tamsulosin. Those give me constant cold symptoms (nasal congestion, cough, sore throat), sexual problems, headaches, etc.I took a whole bottle of this "Super Prostate" formula and it did absolutely nothing for me. Had to keep taking Tamsulosin quite often to alleviate the urination problems.The "real" Super Prostate formula which contains 320mg of saw palmetto gave me better although moderate results.My Dr. is pushing toward the Avodart medication which I am not to incline to try having read all of the potential side effects (having no libido is not an option I am seeking right now).Time will tell what I'll do next but surgery is out of question. I can not be certain they do anything than help your prostate ... possibly. I have heard horror stories about various men getting prostate cancer. If this helps stop that then awesome, its a case of better safe than sorry. Read more
