I really liked the combo unit, and the deep clean feeling I get from brushing and flossing.But for there second time, the toothbrush has died within 2 years of purchase. It won't recharge.I store the toothbrush in the inductive charging base. Otherwise it fails over or lies on the bathroom counter. Who leaves their toothbrush lying down on the counter? Pretty gross. There is no other way to store it on the unit.Apparently, you are supposed to unplug the unit when not in use. Who does that????? Or store it elsewhere? What a pain in the butt. Anyway, my second one has died. I will not buy a third. Horrible engineering. A $80 device should not be this disposable. So mad at Waterpik. Just adding to waste in the landfill and a waste of money. Read more

I really like this WaterPik/Electric Tooth Brush Combination Machine. The WaterPik is very effective and easy to use. It has power settings from 1-10 for water pressure control while cleaning. There are two Toothbrush Heads for brushing your teeth. Water does not flow through toothbrush. These are very good oral hygiene products and were recommending by my Dental Hygienist. My Bi-Yearly Cleanings have been much better since starting to use these instruments. I highly recommend this product. It arrived quickly in perfect shape and has an extensive user manual for easy use. Good purchase and I would definitely buy again. Read more

I had it for less than a year when it stopped working. Waterpik replaced it under warranty and in less than 2 months the replacement stopped working too. I was told by Waterpik that the replacement unit has no warranty ( so now I am out of luck and out of almost $100). The only common denominator is that I took both brushes on vacation and after retuning home, the brushes would not charge when placed in the base unit. There is clearly a problem with this model and Waterpik won't make it right. Very unhappy with this purchase. Read more

Holy Moses does this really clean my teeth really deeply. I love the feeling of having clean teeth but hate flossing as I feel like it's very rough on my gums this on the other hand is more gentle on my gums but I know that it's still cleaning out my teeth. My complaint is that it's a little touchy at the top where the tip meets and can come undone which means you're going to have water spraying everywhere sometimes. It doesn't happen often enough for me to return it, I will be keeping it and would suggest anybody who wants a clean mouth to buy one. Read more

My family has used Oral B electric brushes for over 15 years, but with our 11 year-old needing braces, we looked for a better way he could floss than with the string flossers. After a day of research, reading reviews, watching videos, and basically using Amazon's customers to provide background for my decision, I purchased 3 of these - one for my husband, one for the 11 year-old, and one for myself!! I am flabbergasted that I didn't know about something like this before now. I have struggled with string flossing for years, and was never told by any dentist that I was doing a good job, though I really put a lot of effort into being sure to do as thorough a cleaning as I could. After the first use of the Water Pik 5.0 (Model 861WW) followed by a brushing with the WaterPik toothbrush, my mouth and teeth felt better than when I leave the dentist office after a 6-month cleaning. I will be buying more of this model for gifts to my older children this Christmas, as I want everyone in my family to have one. The footprint of this model is so small that it fits on the edge of our double bathroom sinks in nearly the same space that the Oral B electric brushes alone fit. I bought this to combine the Waterpik with the cordless toothbrush to minimize gadgets on my bathroom counter. My old one finally gave up after 15ish years and this one is more compact than my old one. The toothbrush feels as if it does a much more thorough job cleaning than my former one, very pleased with the product. One drawback is that it doesn't seem the toothbrush stays charged away from the unit very long so I wonder what it will be like to travel with it. It took over 2 weeks for it to arrive from the 3rd party seller, multiple delay notices. Amazon Prime has us all spoiled, I kept forgetting I ordered the thing. Read more

I was searching for a new device that was both a water pick and an electric toothbrush base. The reasons I wanted this combination.1. Only wanted to use one electric socket for both.2. Wanted a much more solid base for the toothbrush than one commonly gets, which are apt to tipping over.I accomplished both with this unit, and it works quite well.
