The instructions for this left a little to be desired for me. One tip for anyone doing this BEFORE you touch anything, look closely at how your blades are aligned (maybe even take a picture). Pay special attention to how far down the lower blade is from the top of the main blade (sorry, I'm sure there are actual names for each, but I don't know them). Pros: Nice close shave with no poking or cutting.Cons: These blades are slightly more sensitive to the bolt tightness compared to other Wahl blade sets. These are very easy to over-tighten. Also, these blades seem to require more frequent cleaning with the brush while using them to keep them clear.FYI: These blades fit both my Wahl 'two-bolt' trimmers, neither of which was a 'Balding' trimmer (a Color Pro and a Home Pro). This blade will turn your head into 220 grit sand paper in a couple of minutes. Make sure you properly adjust/install the blade so that it doesn’t cut too short and tear your scalp to shreds. My husband likes his head to shaved as close as he can get without a razor and this is apparently as close as we can get. There is still stubble (He still has hair - he just likes it off) - but it works pretty good. Not really easy to replace on the razor - but it works.
