I have had my Wahl clipper for over a year and used it to trim my beard buzz my hair. The blades were starting to pull on my beard hairs so I replaced the blades with these and no more beard hair pulling. It can be a little difficult to install the blades (atleast for my clippers it was which are  Wahl Color Pro Hair Cutting Clipper with Color Coded Guide Combs, A Complete Haircut Kit #79300-400 ), but once I got the blades on there and straightened out correctly I have not had any problems. I expected this to be a steel blade like all of them I have purchased before have been. I was very disappointed to see that the under blade is plastic!! Use your money to buy the complete steel set. I didn't see that it is plastic stated anywhere although it does look like it might be in the picture. I'm not sure why they would even make this in plastic. It really doesn't make sense to me. Big difference having these blades on. Price seems high relative to a whole set of clippers, but when it comes to the price of a haircut, still huge value. Had my hair cut at a barber shop several months ago, and paid double of what it cost for these blades to have a haircut I wasn't particularly happy with. Granted, I did get a lot of conspiracy theories about who died for what reason. I guess there are a lot of ways to modify firearms post-murder, and so i did learn that, but I digress.....But I am back to self-cutting - way cheaper than a haircut. I have the Wahl color pro kit and purchase this blade set every year. My wife has been cutting my hair for about 8 years now and Wahl shavers are built great. For about 10 bucks a year replacing this blade, I've saved about $20 every 3-4 weeks I would have spent going for a haircut.The blade is a little tricky to align at first. If you place the cutting blade too forward, it will come above the guide and can nick you. If you set it too far back, you can't get a close cut (only important when you're trimming etc.). Once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. The blade should be about 1/16"" back from the guide. Read more

I purchased this wahl blade set to replace my damaged one. To save me money I actually cut my own hair as going to a barber can get very expensive. I don’t know how my clippers broke but one of the teeth were missing so instead of having to purchase a whole new clipper set, I went out and purchased just the blade. It was easy and simple to replace as you just unscrew the old one and replace it with the new one. These blades just don't feel as sharp as the original blades. I even took it to a barber to make sure the blades were aligned correctly. They pull on the hair if its too thick - we just make sure to trim first before using the shaver. Read more
