I could put 5 stars to the product because it has everything it indicates, except the wifi, the wifi was my main reason to buy this product, but I don't know why when I want to connect it to wifi so I can connect my cell phone, it doesn't work, I thought it was my internet but no, I turned off and turned on the monitor but it did not work, my husband sent them an email and there are no answers yet, I know that these are difficult times that we are going through, but well I will update my review if it comes to solving.Update:They never contact us and now the monitor is not charging anymore so yeah good waist of money Read more

I wanted to love this monitor. Seemingly good price for the features. However, the camera often doesn’t connect, making the monitor completely pointless. Right now, it’s 4:00am, my WiFi is 100% and my screen has been trying to connect to the camera for 30 minutes. I also cannot connect from the APP. I've purchased maybe half a dozen baby cams (now re-purposed or returned or trashed) in the last couple years and this one is easily the best... so far. The monitor is large and the video quality is outstanding both day/night. The camera can be easily panned/tilted from the controls on the monitor. I also love that there are volume buttons on the monitor so you can easily turn down the volume if you don't want a baby screaming in two rooms at the same time (a 'mute' button would've been even better but still, this is a feature that other brands, like Motorola, don't provide; note, there is a volume/mute button on the app). Generally, the interface on the monitor is pretty intuitive and practical (I suggest you go into Menu and choose the 'Wide' view for the camera; note, the app shows a wider view than the monitor). Signal strength and communication appear to be steady for both the monitor and the app. The monitor was going in and out of range when placed at about 40 feet away from the camera so keep that in mind if you live on a ranch or a castle or something. Updated to add: the camera also moves seemingly by itself. Baby was awake in the middle of the night and I was looking at him to see if he went back to sleep and the camera spanned upwards and settled on my bed. There was nothing I could do to stop it. It is now unplugged because that's creepy!! (I was looking at the monitor and my connected phone next to me)I hate this baby monitor. About once a week I need to remove it from the app and reconnect /add the camera. I don't realize this until I want to check on baby. When it reconnects, the camera part, in a loud computerized voice says, the camera is ready to use. WHAT?! This is a baby monitor! Why the heck is it taking on the camera part at all?! Then I sit there and pray the little one doesn't wake up...On the nights I don't have to add the camera to the app, it only works about half the time. I really wish I would have looked a couple weeks ago and it still would have been in the return window. I hate, hate, hate it.Believe the bad reviews. I haven't touched on how it connects to the monitor and while it's slightly better at that, the monitor loses its link also a lot and has to be restarted.There are better monitors out there. With baby #3 here, we wanted to get an updated monitor. We needed a monitor with clear sound and the presence of a parent unit. The WiFi feature of this monitor has proven to be excellent, we were pleasantly surprised. We bought and returned 4 other units made by different companies (avoiding naming so that the review gets published). My experience so far has been great!- The sound is the best we've tested.- The image / video on the monitor and on the app are both outstanding.- The size of the monitor is large. The wide angle of the camera has given a clear view to the nursery.- The design of the functional buttons are well positioned. The charger (USB-C) and charging port seem much sturdier than the previous unit's micro USB type.- The wifi option is outstanding with very little lag. A great benefit because we have the option to use the monitor or our phones at home or at work. And we don't need to set up guest access for our nanny as she can just use the parent unit.- Setup was very easy and fast.- The price is good.I also noticed that there aren't many baby review sites providing reviews on VTech monitors. I suspect Vtech doesn't pay them or provide samples to them to review. Either way, we've tried most of the top rated baby monitors and they are all inferior in one or multiple critical ways compared with both VTech models we've owned. Read more

UPDATE: I emailed VTech about my issues and they responded with instructions on how to set it back to factory mode😑 so I requested a replacement from Amazon(they rock) because I tried a different monitor and the picture was not nearly as good as Vtechs. The new one I have been using for 2 days now with no issue. Hopefully I just got a dud and this one continues to work but only time will tell🤷‍♀️I HATE this camera. The first day it worked great but ever since it’s been terrible. It’s CONSTANTLY losing signal & when it does it loudly beeps 5 times. My daughters room is literally right down the hall from our bedroom there is no reason it should have an issue getting signal. At 4am I had to sneak into her room to turn the camera on and off to get it to reconnect. The picture is good & the sound is decent but that’s absolutely worthless if it won’t stay connected. Nos gustó mucho y le hemos dado muchísimo uso , es muy fácil de utilizar , y sirve perfecto si tengo que salir y ver a mi bebé por el teléfono, lo único que no nos gustó es que el monitor se le acaba la pila muy pronto , casi siempre tiene que estar conectado , pero además de ese detalle lo recomiendo ampliamente ya que todo la imagen la da a tiempo , el sonido está perfecto y las señales que te da tmb funcionan bien . I should have listened to the other reviews. The camera doesn’t connect to the wifi network and connection to the monitor is shaky. In the first week of use, the monitor lost connection with the camera and we had to restart the camera to get it back working properly. I can’t believe this is an Amazon’s choice product. It’s a great concept but a real peace of junk. Read more
