Definitely not worth the price. Not at all what I expected based on the old version I had for my first daughter 8 years ago. This is much smaller. Light weight - not great for babies learning to stand like it had been previously. My 9 month old has zero interest in this. She attempted to play with it once...leaned back and fell hard on the back of her head while simultaneously pulling it with her smashing herself in the face.I would never purchase this as a gift nor recommend it. After seeing the other activity cubes listed here I decided to go with this Vtech option (there is another one) based on size, colors, and I thought the amount and type of activities it offered would keep my son entertained for a while. I was absolutely right. My son is generally attracted to lights and sounds, this cube certainly delivers on both. The front and top sides offer multiple options for him to push/turn/twist so that he can listen to a different sounds each time (he loves the monkey noise) as well as the piano keys which perform multiple functions (animal noises, songs, lights, find the animal). The other sides aren't quite as loud or bright but he still engages quite a bit. He thoroughly enjoys spinning the food/instrument shapes and turning the gears below (another noise maker). The sliding monkey, bird, bug side is his least favorite and just feels like this side should've been designed better (my only reason for the 4 star mark). The shape blocks are great, he just started putting the circle in the correct hole so it's really great to see the progress.Overall I would strongly recommend this product to any parent. It has kept my child engaged for over 6 months now and is a staple in his play routine. I would say this purchase is most useful once baby starts crawling or even more so when they can sit up. As with most Vtech products I'm very satisfied with this product and continue to look for their toys when making a new toy purchase. Read more

I feel like they could’ve done better with the side of the Cube ... ( the red side) where there’s a bunch of animals; I wish they would’ve just had it to where that little spinner button that’s on top of it that points at the direction of the animals would actually spend spin actually not just click.. 🤣 like you know the olden toys where you would pull the lever in a go around in a circle and it would stop or something on the animal it was on lol Something like that😁. I wish they had more shapes available cause it’s such a huge Inner cube it hold more..I know there’s only four available shapes that they could cut into the side you know because of the big hole they put in it but still I wish there was a better design for that… My son like his cube!! don’t get me wrong 😉. 😒 buuuttt I’ve seen another cube that they made that similar to this one I bought ,but It sooo much more expensive and it does just a few more things that this one doesn’t do… I wish they wouldn’t make these cubes so expensive!!But overall it’s a really cute cube and my son has been enjoying it very much!!! his favorite areas of the cube is the shape sorting area and he dose enjoy the music part of it but that is pretty much the only thing I really see him really into ((shapes and The piano/book side of it.))Hope this review helped. My 12 month old son abosultely loves this toy! He has a few toys with some overlapping features, but hes still entertained by this one. He LOVES spinning toys (even when that isnt their purpose) so the side with all the bars and spinning toys really gets him going. Wondeful toy overall! Also as a bonus if your kiddo already has an oball, it fits almost perfectly in a large round hole! My son loves putting it in/taking it out Read more

Got three of these for children approx 1yr old. They loved them!About the right size to be manipulated by a little one. Pretty durable, and enough activities to keep them occupied.Price was fair for the product and the parents were impressed. Again not too big, or bulky in the play room.So cool to see how each of the little ones play with it. One stashes other little toys inside. One lugs it from room to room, and another leaves it in one spot and crawls/walks to it to play and interact.Probably out grown by 2-3 yrs old, but a great gift! Even the older siblings (3-4yrs old) Had fun with it. Read more

My 11 month old son loves this toy, so overall, no complaints, however it does have a couple minor design flaws. The first being the shape sorting wall - they have it opposite the wall with the book, bear and keys. When you have the shape sorting wall facing up, it pushes down on the key side and plays music/sounds that constantly get interrupted. Also, the shape sorting wall has a giant circle in the center. While it’s great to get the shapes back out, my kid gets lazy if the shapes don’t immediately fit where he puts them and dumps them into the big hole. Maybe just have a way to open that side? Otherwise he plays with it constantly so very glad he enjoys it! Read more

It came neatly packed with batteries and this was the second vtech toy I ordered for my daughter (14mths). It didn’t hold her attention for 5 minutes and she is really into toys. :(Had just 2 rhymes and some animal sounds and on the top some more animals talking things which is not very clear for kids at that age. I wish I returned it right away but thought she’ll eventually find it interesting. No luck. Read more

I got this cube for my son when he was 8 months old as he was getting bored of his toys. We have had the cube for about a month now and this is one of his favourite things to play with. There are several different things for him to touch and move, spin, press. We turn it on about half of the time as he enjoys it even when it is turned off.It is a good size, not too big but not too small. It would consider bringing it with us on a trip as itnisnt too bulky.Has a quiet setting so it isn't obnoxiously loud. As my son is still learning this toy will suit him for a long time. He tried to use the shape sorter now and loves looking insode it for the shapes.I would absolutely give this as a giftWe have not had to replace the batteries that it cane with yet. Also the frustration free packaging was great Read more

When your kid leans on it, it topples over, which is understandable it's not a push toy, but having stickers on the blocks is terrible. Kids put things in their mouth and the second we took it out of the box my kid was putting the blocks in her mouth and you can't wash them because they have stickers on them. Of course the stickers come off when kids chew on the blocks. Also sticker on the top, better make sure your kid doesn't drool at all or it will start to peel. Read more

My 9-month-old loves this toy. It makes lots of different sounds for him, but his favourite part is the side that has holes to put plastic shapes in, with a big circle hole in the middle. He loves to put objects in and take them out again. He plays with the toy a lot and I’m not so tired of the songs that I want to throw it across the room yet, which is a plus. Read more

Initially when my daughter was 6 mo, she wasnt too interested in this, now (11 mo) she always crawls to it and it really keeps her occupied. kind of like a child and TV. its a little too addictive for her though and she tends to not pay attention to anything else or do anything else. which i suppose is good. 11/10 Read more

I just opened the package and it already came damaged. We love vtech and have purchased the sit to stand walker, the cow, the sit to stand ABC train and the smaller handheld activity cube. I'm very disappointed and will return the item. It's fairly small, I'm surprised at the size. It has a shape sorter, animal with pinpoint wheel, colourful keyboard keys, a mini storybook, pictures of fruit and music instruments that the LO can move around.I wouldn't recommend as it's similar features are found on many of their product line.
