Where do I even begin...this toy is a MUST HAVE. Yes, the songs and voices are annoying and you will find yourself singing the songs in your sleep but it is worth it. My 6 month old is obsessed with this toy. It is one of the few toys I can set her on the floor with and do housework without her getting bored and angry. The top side has 4 buttons (circle, triangle, star, square) each with an animal picture in them (circle-bird, triangle-cow, square-cat, star-dog). They have animal sounds, sing songs, play musical tunes, count to 3, play games, etc. My baby hits the buttons over and over again and loves the sound and lights. There is also a spinning cylinder on the top that rattles. There is a side with spinning letter blocks (A,B,C,D) and another side with spinning shapes. There is a side with musical instruments (shakers, drum, symbol) and a side with a spinning ladybug. The bottom is just blue with letters (not an exciting side). This toy, no matter how annoying, is fun for my baby and is teaching her motor skills and cause and effect. I highly recommend itUPDATE: My baby is now 16 months old and she still really enjoys playing with this toy. It has lasted a year and is still going strong. I love that it holds her attention still and is a toy that will grow with her. It has held up really well to all of the dropping, excessive button pushing, and spinning over a year of play. I still highly recommend this activity cube.ANOTHER UPDATE: My daughter is now 2.5 years old and she still plays with this toy on occasion. She still loves the songs, naming all the animals, shapes, and colors on the cube. I honestly never imagined when I bought this that it would have kept her interest for 2 years, but it has. This really was the best toy purchase I have made to date. Read more

I don't claim to be a wonderful painter but one thing I do share with Van Gogh is a constant awful sound in my ear. Unfortunately I realized too late this awful sound was coming from the colorful pain cube sitting on my ottoman. I admit it should've been obvious the toy was responsible for the music, but in my defense I've been driven slowly insane by it's awful incantations.Would you like to be informed that the cat is in the square or that the cow is in the triangle until you have bizarre zoologically focused geometric dreams? Then this is the perfect product for you and your child!I rate this as -100 stars but judging by the happy squeals and endless use by my child, he probably rates it as +100000 stars. Unfortunately for vtech, his stars are only baby sized so that averages to 3 stars.I recommend ear plugs and a case of whiskey to compliment this product. Read more

5 stars for baby, 3 stars for parents, haha. But, no, seriously. My baby LOVES playing with this cube. It gives her all the stimulation she needs, noise, lights, moving parts. If she gets too excited over it, I turn off the toy and she still loves playing with it.So...3 stars. I didn’t notice it until my partner pointed it out, but this cube will haunt you. It will seep into your dreams, saturate your unconsciousness and one day you will find yourself minding your own business at work humming about the dog in the star. I used to love this cube. I bought it because other reviewers said their 2yo still plays with it. My child is 6mo...it’s my investment for the next couple years. That’s hard to find when it comes to any baby item. But I have realized how annoying, and slightly creepy this cube can be. Sometimes, at night, I can hear it singing to itself. Do yourself a solid...buy this, but turn it off when the baby doesn’t play with it. Or just turn it off completely until you baby is old enough to play the games it asks you to do. Overall, the baby is very satisfied. Would probably buy again...parents beware. Read more

Before kids, I couldn't understand why parents bought their children so many noisy plastic toys. I swore we wouldn't clutter up our house with stuff like this; rather, our little darling would have a tasteful collection of retro-inspired, minimalist wooden toys. Now that I am a mom, I understand what parents really want are sturdy, engaging toys that stimulate your child and keep them entertained. Turns out very often these things are plastic and noisy. But my 9 month old loves this toy and it holds her attention for longer than most of the toys she has. It has been so fun to watch her learn to push the buttons and play with the widgets. This toy is affordable, safe, and it makes her really happy! She loves it! Read more

My daughter loves this table until it stopped working properly. I had been warned that VTech don’t last very long and I should have listened. It not repeats the same sentence over and over again without any button being pushed. It’s also happening with her VTech activity table. I contacted VTech since they “offer” a 3-month warranty on their toys and they said to go through Amazon for this issue. Now Amazon is saying to go through VTech. Both companies are not standing by their products and have provided horrible customer service regarding this matter. Read more

It is a fun toy, my little one seems to love it and is so cute when she danced with the music. However I'd say it may not be suitable for baby too small. Last night my 9 months old were playing with it and then start crying. I was sitting close to her and from my point of view she was just sitting in front of the toy with her little hands holding it. My instinct told me not to pick her up or remove the toy from her. When I look closer I saw some how her little feet got stuck in one of the bigger gaps on the side of the toy. She doesn't have the finesse to remove herself from the toy and she got scared. Won't say this toy only deserve one star but hopefully potential customer will read this and be awared of the issue. May be suit for baby 1 year or older and definitely don't leave it with your little one without your supervision. Read more

I can not say enough good things about this activity cube! Not. Only. Is it a great learning center for kids but my child loves the vte h ladies voice so much that the second she hears the cube turn on she smiles. She can be in the middle of a breakdown or teething outburst and hearing the cube will stop her comoletly and bring a smile to her face.Very amazing would reccomend to everyone Read more

This is our holy grail of baby toys. I wanted something small but that would get a lot of use and grow with the baby. We got it for our 6 month old and she was immediately drawn to it. It helped her to sit unassisted because it allowed her to lean on it for support. She flips it to all the sides and plays with every part. It asks questions like what animal/instrument makes this sound and you're suppose to press on the correct button but she's too young to understand that part of it yet. The songs can be mildly annoying but it's worth it to be able to sit back and have a coffee while I watch her play with it. The batteries that came with it lasted for about 2 weeks before we needed to switch them. Read more

UPDATE: BROKEN within a couple months of light baby play. My now one year old is so frustrated with this toy now. The intro music repeats a one second clip over and over and the whole thing won't work properly. Horrible that it didn't last and makes me sad she can't play with what once was her favourite toy. Would return or replace but it's too late now I suppose.6 month old will spend a long time pushing buttons and flicking the noisy things around. Not too loud (two volume settings) but repetitive songs can get a bit annoying (what's new with baby toys though). Baby is entertained by it so we are happy. I do find myself singing along and accidentally getting the lyrics wrong though... It's "Meet the animals! Beat the drum!" and I reverse those sometimes and then catch myself and realize just how terrible that sounds.Seems fairly sturdy but we've only had it a week. Babe also faceplants on it and bumps her head. Or pulls it onto herself and smacks into it. It's definitely a supervision toy for her age. Read more

I am very careful about the kind of "press-the-button" toys my baby engages with, but this is a win! The cube is fun - but only on five sides, as it states. Which is so funny, since my baby seems to love the boring sixth side with the numbers on it!PROS: This is a very entertaining and easy-to-use toy. Great for young sitters, since it can be a little more difficult to use if a baby cannot sit independently. The activities are meaningful, but do require some modelling to reach their full learning potential.CONS: Very heavy, so if being used by an uncoordinated young child, this can cause a small hazard. I wish there were more song options, but there seems to be a limit to that on every toy. Read more
