I absolutely love Vital Proteins. 30 yrs ago I had a car accident which left my right knee shattered and in pieces. My knee has been virtually bone to bone . I am a Flight Attendant and on my feet sometimes 16 hrs a day. I recently stated experiencing almost in bearable knee pain. After much research I decided to try Vital proteins. I have both the marine and bovine in travel packages as this is a must for my lifestyle. Within 2 days the pain started subsiding and after a week of the product it is almost non existent. I can not say enough about this product. It is sooooo easybto use and honestly the best flavors I have found in collagen. They are difficult to mix in cold beverages without a blender but that's okay for me. I pit them in coffee, tea or even plain hot water. Their dark chocolate BlackBerry is out of this world.. when mixed with hot water it tastes like a watered down hot chocolate. The unflavored is okay mixed with hot water but if you want a super easy drinking experience put a splash of your favorite juice in it.I honestly cant say enough about this product.. it is so good all the way around and my body feels amazing. All I can say is wow. I've never tried collagen powder before, and I've only been using it for a week so I can't attest to improved skin, hair, post-workout recovery yet, but it really is effective at suppressing my appetite. That is not even what I bought it for--I was hoping it would help with my recovery time post workout. I am constantly trying to diet and lose weight (without much success) but I'm always hungry and wind up binge eating. I put a scoop of this into my morning coffee and a scoop into my tea later in the day, and it really helps. I'm finally able to keep myself from overeating.Thus far I don't feel nearly as hungry! Ok, this stuff is ah-mazing! I did a lot of research On collagen peptides before I decided to actually purchase. I tried the bovine first (differs the brand), but after some additional research discovered the marine has better absorption into your system. I switched to Vital Proteins and I swear by this product! My hair is growing and looks healthier, my skin feels and looks better and I included a pic of my nails. I have lived my entire life without fingernails and this product is a game changer! I love the fact that I don’t have to do artificial nails, or dip powders or gel. All natural! Consistency is the key to results. I mix daily in my morning coffee....and the BONUS *** it’s pretty much a meal replacement too. It’s loaded with protein and other great ingredients and filling. I started with their regular type of collagen but switched to the marine because it had less protein. Ive been low carb for almost 3 years and wanted something to help prevent drooping skin and combat diet related hair loss. Instead, this ended up really helping my achy knees and hips! Not sure yet about the skin though. Ive been taking it for about a year, but only using one scoop a day to help make the container last longer. I do feel like when I stop taking it I notice more hair loss.Although this manufacturer was a Consumer Lab top pick, Im going to try the Besha Collagen powder because (according to CL) they have the only ingredient (Verisol) that was clinically tested (for wrinkles and cellulite) and see how that goes. I’ve have previously bought Vital Proteins Marine Collagen from Sephora and loved it. I bought it from Amazon because of the same day delivery but I don’t believe it is an authentic product. There was no Best Buy date that has always been stamped on the ones from Sephora and the scoop was markedly smaller. I noticed a difference in my skin and nails with the Sephora product, the one from Amazon, not so much. Will not purchase from Amazon again. Read more

When I was using this I saw a difference with my nails, hair and skin. I switched to Great Lakes since it was much cheaper but I didn’t get the same results. I will likely switch back to this once I’m done with the other product. Just wish this was a little cheaper. Read more

Very expensive!!!!! Too expensive as this is something you have to take for months and years and upkeep to see the results!
