Since this product, the strawberry lemon collagen beauty glow, has about the same ingredients as their strawberry lemon beauty collagen (except beauty glow has added vitamin C and biotin, and uses marine collagen instead of bovine collagen), I thought that this would taste about the same as the beauty collagen, except with a slight fish flavor. However, I think this tastes even better than the beauty collagen and the marine taste is hardly noticeable. Keep in mind that there are no added sugars/sweeteners aside from the naturally occurring sugars in the fruit powder, so it's not going to be as sweet as some might prefer in plain water. It does taste great added to lemonade. This product has helped my hair and nails grow quicker and stronger. The only problems are that it's rather expensive and that it has difficulty mixing with cold liquids (aside from smoothies because the blender does the job there). I love the taste, and can just add it to a cup of hot water for a late morning drink. It's much easier for me than taking a pill. Although we recycle, it comes in a wasteful container, which is only half full, new. They should sell it in a smaller container. It's also very expensive for 20 days of drink. Read more

This stuff is actually really good. I tried to get into vital proteins before and first purchased the blue plain collagen powder, which was unflavored but had a very unpleasant taste (its bovine collagen) and couldn’t really find anything to mask the taste well enough. So I just bought this and let me tell you it’s 100% better. Drinkable on its own which is soooo relieving. Just barely sweet, the best way I can describe it is that it tastes like somebody put lemons and strawberries in water to infuse a little bit, and so it’s just like a nice refreshing taste. It’s marine collagen but there’s no fish taste or smell at all. I just started today so I can’t speak to the benefits yet, but I mixed it with warm water to dissolve and then added ice later on. 10/10 would definitely recommend!! Read more

This stuff is so gross, as all collagen products are. I hoped marine collagen would be better than the cow hide collagen....not so much. It states you can mix it in water. I mixed and mixed but it remained lumpy. It’s so acidic it gave me immediate heartburn. And it just tastes so gross. I guess I was a sucker for Jennifer Aniston’s adds, I made a huge mistake. I drank it about an hour ago and I still have the yuckie taste in my mouth, and quite frankly it’s making me belch, so gross! If you really want to try it and you want it in water I think you should try mixing it with a small amount of hot water, then add cold. That may cut down on the coagulation of the whole mess. I agree with other reviewers, it is expensive. However, I notice a big difference in my skin if I stop drinking it for a week. It makes my skin glow, nails grow and hair grow and takes away body aches for me. I’m 56 and in menopause so whatever brings me relief and benefits is a no brainer.It does not dissolve well but I drink it in a big glass first thing in the morning as a wake up ritual then move onto coffee.
