Definitely a high quality omega supplement. I was taking cod liver oil but had to switch to something without vitamin A due to being on Accutane. I ended up enjoying this quite a bit more. It's hard to explain but I just feel better on it. Subtle mood and focus lift and it's been good for some of my mild hormonal issues. I first tried Vegepa some years back. After a period of intensive triathlon training I caught a mild cold. I laid off training entirely for a few days but discovered that I was suffering suddenly from something along the lines of chronic fatigue syndrome. And my sleep had become broken and unrefreshing - it felt like wire wool in my head. Comprehensive medical tests ruled out any detectable underlying cause, so I was left on my own, tired and pretty miserable. I was also suffering from annoying Post Exertional Malaise if I tried anything more than a walk - infuriating if you have been used to peak fitness! I looked around for something to help and chanced upon Prof Basant Puri's book in which he discusses his theories about Vegepa and its use in treating the ME/CFS type of auto-immune ailment. Encouraged that a distinguished mainstream researcher was prepared to put his reputation on the line I purchased a few packs.The very first day I took them I enjoyed my first night's real sleep for weeks - it was like a miracle. I also found that my ability to concentrate was enhanced. I wish I could say that Vegepa had cured everything - it hasn't, but it certainly helped and goes on helping to this day. I can now undertake modest exercise (although adieu my ironman triathlon ambitions) and enjoy good, refreshing sleep. So many reviews here mention buying this product for the treatment of their ME/CFS. From what I have read, this is based on the findings by a Basant Puri who, apparently, is at least part-funded by the Vegepa company. I cannot for the life of me find any independent medical reports supporting this "wonder cure". Look at Basant Puri's book on this website and read some of the critical comments. Then look elsewhere for ACTUAL evidence that Vegepa is effective for ME. I am also slightly concerned that DHA is apparently absent from this product. I will stick with krill oil etc., with the proper natural balance of EPA and DHA, as well as eating a diet rich in oily fish. Read more

**Updated review** - I have been taking these for 2 months now at 1 tablet a day and at around 6 weeks, I noticed a subtle change in the severity of my brain fog. I have ordered another 60 tablets which I will continue to take for another couple of months and update my review if there is any further change. Sadly, it had not worked for me.We all react differently to medications and supplements and we take them for a variety of reasons.
