works great right after you shower becuase your pores are open at that time and you can easily peel out the blackheads without dangerous force. Dont do it so much or else your nose will become raw and a few days later your nose will start peeling. So do this once a week. In order to get this to work you have to press very hard, it may or may not get the blackhead out and draws blood where it pressed. This item was harder to use than I thought. It does not come with any instructions, so when I went on YouTube to get an idea of how to use it without stabbing myself to death, I found out that it should have multiple tiny holes for extractions vs. the one big hole.
