Maybe I didn't read the description well, but I didn't realize these have covers. That blue? There's a whole bunch of it, with a drawstring. AND yes, the sides collapse. Also, the rope handles have huge knots that take up a lot of space inside. I liked the design but once they arrived, I wasn't that crispy about them anymore. I was going to return them but decided to put a bunch of different storage stuff in them, utilize the material cover / drawstring, and they're now on the top shelf in the back of my closet filled with stuff I don't anticipate accessing much.Oh, and in pulling them out to take a pic for the review, I discovered one of the rope knots had come undone and pulled out of its hole and the rope was untwisting. I bought the medium sized bin as a gift basket for a baby shower, and it is perfect! Very study material, and I love the draw string lining option. After reading other reviews for different items about wrinkles I was a little worried, but this popped up easily and had no creases. The photo I attached is 1 day after opening. So I originally bought this basket to hold various beauty products. We recently had a baby "sprinkle" for a coworker, and I wanted something more sturdy than just a gift bag to present to our recipient. This item appears to be from China and smells very strongly of some chemical. I got this as a baby shower gift basket for my gifts and hopefully something that will be of use down the road. Now I hope the smell goes away before the shower and hopefully it's okay to inhale/handle. Read more
