I have owned a salon now for 10 years and we always purchase the bleach safe towels. While we use a bleach color safe detergent and germacide to comply with state sanitation codes- we also do a lot of highlights and color services that can effect the longevity of any salon towel. Unlike other towels that I have purchased in the past- these towels are fluffy and feel good against the skin. Other towels that I have purchased like this have been color-safe, but felt like sandpaper on the skin. Not these towels. They are also a nice large size. It's been hard to make purchases like this online because you just never know what quality fabric that you are going to get. After receiving the first shipment and finding these to be superb quality- I had my salon manager order 48 more towels. They say these are bleach proof. That’s the only reason I bought these towels. I have my own salon business and wanted something that stays looking nice. This towel was only used once. Not happy. UPDATE. I think they had sent me the wrong towels originally. They sent me a new batch and so far now bleach marks. They made it right so now I would definitely recommend these towels. Read more

I read the warning from another reviewer about the tremendous amount of lint that comes off these towels. So I washed and dried all of them and was astounded by the amount of lint-WOW. It was in the washer too! I again re-washed and dryed them a second time, and still got an amazing amount of lint. The lint is so thick and dense, it actually looks like a towel! Three times a charm with these; the third batch of lint was less than half of first two cycles, so I am hoping its coming to an end. After 3 washes, a few towels took a little bit if a beating, as the stitching seemed to come loose, but still intact. I contacted the seller regarding replacing some of the towels that frayed up on the first washing. I never heard anything back I didn’t want to send all of them because not all of them came apart in the wash but a good amount did and I just thought they should replace them. They are soft and they are absorbent but they did not hold up very well after just one wash cycle so I can only imagine what they will look like after multiple wash cycles. Read more

I have now purchased this same towel on 4 different occasions and every time they are great. I don't get as much lint as some of the other reviewers have indicated but I do wash and dry them twice before I put them in service at the salon. They stay black and last. Great Value! Read more

These towels are great! I have used them MULTIPLE times since purchase. I have used salon lighteners with them and not a spot of color has lifted off of them. They still look brand new. They are still as soft as fluffy as the day I got them, despite how much I have washed and dried them. I feel like I should be a spokes person for them, with how much I brag to other suite owners about my towels. I will DEFINITELY be buying from them again! Read more

Disappointed in the quality for the price. I purchased these for our salon once before and they seemed to be okay for the price. They are bleach proof as they claim, but launder very poorly. They fade to an ugly gray and rough, coarse texture. I chose "order again" and it didn't really register how much the price had gone up the second time until I saw my order confirmation. These black salon hand-towels feel as thick and soft as any normal hand towel that you might buy at any place from Walmart to Kohl's. They don't look like a true black to me, more like a very dark navy. All of the tags say "bleach safe" but I haven't had a chance to test that yet. I did run them through a gentle cycle wash and tumble dry before I used them and out of the 24 hand towels that I ordered, six of them had ripped seams after the one pre-use cycle. That was disappointing. I messaged the seller to request a partial refund. If they issue the partial refund, then I would still consider this product a good value. Read more
