Works great! I love the auto shut off once the water is all used up. We use some with added essential oil and some with out any. Very easy to twist the top off and fill the cup up with new water....My 3 1/2 yr old daughter did it once by herself when I was in the other room if that gives u an idea :) Easy to clean also, no tinny parts or crevices where build up can hide! We like that you can strobe the light colors or just pick a solid color. Then once it's bed time, we can turn the color off all together and still run the unit. I have had several of the more expensive diffusers and none have worked as well as this small diffuser. I don't know how it does it, but it uses less water and runs a lot longer than the other diffusers. I gave them for Christmas presents and everyone loves them They run as long as 12 hours or more. A freind also bought one and then one of her friends bought one. My daugher-in-law is going to get several more to put out through their home. I have 2 of them, one in my bathroom and one on the bar between kitchen and dining room. I still have two others in bedroom and den, but when needed will replace them with more of these small diffusers. May go ahead and order a couple more in case they discontinue them. Great selection of colors to pick from if you are looking to add a little color to your daily use. I do use my diffuser each and every day! After I make my coffee I will always add my "morning blend" to this diffuser. (Lemon and peppermint = wakeup) I have another one of this brand in my bedroom too, I personally shut off the colors at nighttime as I can't sleep with any kind of lights on around me. I will simply turn the colors off and I place a little band-aid over the light that stays on to show it's "on". (I do this with all power lights in my bedroom it works for me) They make great affordable gifts for someone that's just getting into essential oils as well as an essential oil guru! Really amazing price for the guilty you are getting. **NOTE Always, always clean the inside of your diffuser every couple of uses. I know it says to clean it EACH USE but... I personally along with millions of other people do not have the time nor the patience to do that. When the diffuser arrived I was not impressed. It's plastic, doesn't look well made. It is a little work horse! I have used it almost continually for about a month & it has not failed me. I add about 3-5 drops of respiratory essential oil to the water & it works great for about 8-10 hours. I leave it on low & it is barely audible & the water lasts longer. The only problem I have is that the night light feature disturbs my sleep so I made a makeshift cover to reduce the light coming through. I am very happy with the diffuser & I recommend it to someone thatI was not impressed when it arrived. It was plastic & not well constructed. I have used it for about a month every night. Because I have allergy problems I put water & 3-5 respiratory essential oil drops into the diffuser. I use it to help me breathe better through the night. The night light feature is a little too bright for me, so I configured something to help dim the light a little more. Read more

These diffusers are perfect for my small apartment. They don't take up a whole lot of space, they're attractive, and they work perfectly. I love the fact that they have two setting: one for a continuous mist and a second for thirty seconds on/thirty seconds off! It's also very easy to set the color selection. This is a lovely product to have and does its main function well. I use it everyday. The only small complaints I have are:1. The light doesn't fade smoothly. When the colors change, they should fade into each other very smoothly and effortlessly. However, you can see the light frames (if that makes sense) as its changing. It would be nice if it fades smoother, giving off a more peaceful ambiance. For this reason, I actually don't use the light feature very much, I keep it off. It could be possible that I got a defective product, I don't know.2. The mechanism for refilling water is far from ideal. I mean, you could easily open the top cover and refill it with water using the nice measuring cup given. But the thing with diffusers/humidifiers is that you have to rinse and clean the water chamber everyday to rid the bacteria and mineral deposits. In order to clean it you would want to unplug the wire and take it to the kitchen/bathroom sink. The problem with this product however is that it is an absolute pain to remove the cable before taking it to the sink for rinsing. The cable is tucked under the product and you have no choice but to yank it hard and bend the cable to remove it. Ideally, this kind of product should have the water chamber separate from the part where the cable gets attached so that one can easily detach it from the rest of the product to go and clean it. I am giving it 3 starts not because of performance but due to misleading pictures. You only get 1 diffuser!! I would have gone with the vcsting 2 pack for same price. It is super quiet, which is very nice at night. My concern is that is looks very similar to alot of brands out there, holan, vcsting etc. so am concerned about durability. if it doesn't last way longer, not worth the money, when you can buy 2 for same price.
