First the bad. This lotion is very thin and runny so you have to apply it thin and watch for drips. Now the good. I had a callus on the side of my big toe that kept splitting for 6 months that wouldn't heal. My foot doctor recommended purchasing a cream with Urea. I purchased the 40% tube and within a week the split stopped bleeding and stopped advancing. Over 4 weeks I was able to file the callus down till only good skin was seen and the crack has disappeared.I have neuropathy in my feet and they are very sensitive at times to anything rubbing or touching them. I use this product as a foot moisturizing lotion and my feet are no longer sensitive to the touch or rubbing caused by the neuropathy and I can get through the day in total comfort.I would highly recommend this product. The product was very effective in removing rough skin on my elbows and calluses on my feet. I even used it with good success on a couple of other areas with rough skin. However, it made my feet smell really bad! My favorite pair of leather sandals had to be discarded because they stunk after I used the product and wore them for 3-4 dsys. Read more
When applying this cream to your feet within one use it makes a difference. My feet are so soft after a days use. When applying your feet have to be clean and dry. A thin layer is really all you need and make sure you wear socks. At the end of the day you will feel the cream working and making a real difference 10/10 recommend. Read more
My Pediatrist recommended looking on Amazon for a Urea 40% cream but said that they can get really spendy. Yes, they can be but I shopped around on Amazon until I found one I could AFFORD. I am so very happy with my choice. My Doctor is also very happy with it and said "you must be doing this daily or two times a day" when in fact I remember to use it about three times a week!When I first got it I did put it on EVERY night and wrapped my feet in Press & Seal BEFORE putting socks on for overnight. What a difference!!!I went from my heels being SO cracked and dry that they would bleed and it hurt to walk on them. I then resorted to taking a steak knife and cutting the build up off myself, that was until I was Dx with Severe Bilateral Neuropathy. This product has saved my heels. I was at a point where my heels were cracking and bleeding though I babysat them like crazy. I used this product for a common foot problem caused by my chemo treatments. This product had a much better texture than another 40% urea cream that I purchased. It felt like regular lotion, where other brands felt like glue. The tube made it much easier to use than jars that others come in. And it worked for my foot issue! Read more
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what. I regularly use various brands of urea cream on my feet and elbows and they do great job. I saw this one and thought I'd give it it a try because I liked that it came in a tube instead of a tub. The texture is very thin and sheer, which I liked, but it did absolutely nothing to help exfoliate the skin on my feet and elbows. I very quickly found myself returning this stuff and repurchasing a brand of urea cream I'd used and liked in the past. This stuff seemed like a regular old lotion with no urea in it at all. Useless. Not finished rating as I received it today and I've only applied it once, but it's very moisturizing and the smell is very pleasant. Will update in a few days as to how it's doing..
