I have had the Vista stroller for a couple of years now and love it for an only child. Now with the addition of a new baby, I bought the rumble seat (3 yo and new baby) so I can fit two together. Some people might feel that a 3 yo should be out of a stroller at this age. However, if you live in a neighborhood where you can walk to a lot of places (parks, restaurants), it's totally worth it to get the rumble seat so both kids can sit comfortably in the stroller when you go on longer walks. I initially tried to stack the seats without this upper adaptor. While this is possible, it's not practical. The toddler in the upper seat can still sit very comfortably, but there is very little space between the upper and lower seats. You are not squishing the child in the rumble seat without it, but I don't think it would be comfortable to have the back of another seat so close to your face. With the upper adaptor in place, it is a little more difficult for the older child to climb up since the seat is higher, but once they are in the seat, it feels very sturdy. I do wish this could be included with the Vista already since you do pay a fair amount for the stroller system already, that's the only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5, not because of the product quality. As an aside, if you are also looking at the lower adaptor, I do not think that is a necessary piece to add to your Vista system. It's only really useful if you have twins so you can have two carseats or two bassinets stacked. Otherwise, it seems ridiculous to have the bassinet on the bottom where you can't see the newborn. The rumble seat comes with its own lower adaptor that is included, and only fits the rumble seat. In my experience, with the infant insert, you can start putting a baby as young as 1 month into the rumble seat in a reclined position. Read more

THIS DOES NOT FIT TODDLER SEAT! Uppababy is money making machine. I bought two sets of adapters hoping to have car seat on top and toddler on the bottom but as it turns out the lower adapters don't fit the native stroller seat! It doesn't mention that anywhere and now I don't have any choice but to put baby behind my toddler in the bottom.. or purchase another rumble seat. So freaking disappointed in this brand Read more

I bought these not because I need the adapters to help adapt a different infant car seat. I bought these because I saw another mama whose infant carrier car seat was sitting higher than normal of the UB Vista. I approached her and asked her how she got it that high. She explained to me it was the adapters that gives the carrier extra height and how she loves it that way better than the normal height. So I bought the adapters and honestly, it was a game changer for me. The adapters allowed me easier access to lifting and placing him inside the carrier and now, rumble seat. I leave the adapters on now and don’t remove them because I did that once and regretted it so much. The lower normal level of the vista was too low, in my opinion. I like how the adapters give extra height Read more

Everything uppababy works. But constantly having to pay for add ons when the original stroller was so much to begin with is frustrating. But yes, this product works. And trying the rumble seat and toddler seat without it doesnt leave enough room for the kiddos. Just wish something came included instead of having to shell out so much foreverything. I dont recommend this to my friends. I dont want them to get trapped in the endless upgrades that i feel i am trapped in. If youre ordering this, though, you generally already are in my boat. The user manual states that you can only have the toddler seat rear facing, see last bullet point in picture. It says failure to follow this could result in serious injury or death. The box shows the toddler seat in a forward facing configuration, which is how I wanted to use it. So if I use it as shown on the packaging, am I putting my child at risk?? Read more

We have a 2 yo and a 6 week old - the uppababy vista and v2 configuration only lets you have the toddler in the seat facing you and bassinet below (this means you cant see the new born and the toddler lacks the ability to see where you’re going, and the world generally) or the toddler in the front facing out in the rumble seat which has a weight limit of 35 lbs (my 2 yo is 34 lbs - tall not chubby!). the system is really made for twins and making it all work requires a tremendous amount of flexibility and accommodation that newborns and toddlers don’t afford most parents. Additionally, the ruble seat makes the whole thing squeak and the otherwise Cadillac like maneuvering feel VERY awkward. Read more

Needed to add a seat. 3 stars because you have to pay for it ontop of the extra seat. The seat is outrageously priced, I feel it should come with it. To pay $150 at the end so I can add a seat is absurd. I'm sure you can buy a double stroller around this price of a seat with the adapter. Read more

I just purchased these to see what the various functionality were. The adapters are really nice quality and they click onto the stroller perfectly. They will allow you to place the main toddler on them, the bassinet on them, as well as the Mesa infant car seatThey are definitely required if you are using the bassinet with any combination of an infant car seat, and/or toddler seat. They will also be required as well as the "LOWER" adapters if you are using two bassinets or two infant car seatsAfter playing around with the adapter in different configurations this is what works.-Main Toddler Seat works parent and world facing (doesn't increase space between rumble seat and toddler seat unfortunately, unless they are both facing parent, or facing away from each other)-Maxi-Cosi/Cybex adapter clicks on perfectly-Bassinet Clicks on perfectly-Chicco Adapter Clicked on perfectly.-Peg Perego adapter clicks on.-MESA clicks on perfectly.-Rumble Seat did not click on.Hope this helps.
