It's really hard for me to give a fair rating to this "Universal Baby Parasol": I really like the umbrella part of it - it's very compact, but opens into a nice size and blocks sun, rain and wind effectively. In theory, it would be great to attach to a stroller, a beach chair, or anywhere, really, where you'd need some protection from the elements. Unfortunately, the clamp is very hard to operate (you have to turn the knob all the way for it to open, and then all the way back to close - about 20 turns each way) and it would not attach to any part of our stroller at all! I got so frustrated with it that I did not try it on other things (like a beach chair, for example) - the opening is small even when fully opened, so it's not "universal" at all. The part that looks like a spring in the pictures (that I though you could adjust position with) does not bend at all, but you can adjust the angle with the knob between this part and the clamp.If this worked for us as intended, it'd be a 5 star product, but because this clamp is so hard to use and won't work with our stroller, I can't rate it this high.The umbrella is a very good quality and can be used on its own (not attached to anything), and it's competitively priced, so it's a well-deserved 4 stars. The media could not be loaded.  First off I like how versatile and useful this set is. I am definitely impressed with the quality of the umbrella. It feels quite sturdy and durable. The clamp was a tad difficult to adjust depending on what I was trying to attach it to. But just messing around with it I was able to fix it and make it work for us. It eventually stayed in place securely. An added bonus that I really like was the carry on bag. It certainly helps to keep it organized and easy to find. We live in Central Florida and it during most of the year it rains almost everyday. For this reason I am always looking at ways to keep us dry when we are out and about. Here are my thoughts about this umbrella. First I do love that it is hands free. It allows me to be completely pushing the stroller without having to worry about holding anything else. It is also plenty large enough to cover even the largest child riding in a stroller. I wouldn't say it would completely cover two kids in a double stroller but it might on something that seats are really close together or something like a sit and stand where the child standing could purposely get closer. I initially thought that the umbrella might have a long enough handle that it would cover both my little one and me when we were walking around but that is not the case. It might work on the highest part of your stroller and a very short parent but at 5'10" it isn't going to work for me or my husband. I also want to point out that because the umbrella is a normal size that you won't be able to attach it right to the handle where you would be pushing. If you do this the umbrella would be in the space where you stand when you are pushing. So you will need to put it on the side or front of the stroller depending on how your stroller is shaped. The umbrella does block the rain and it does cover the whole width of a standard stroller but make sure you look at where the front and back land on the stroller. Since the water will run off the edges it will be important that the front and back edge aren't on a part of the stroller that can't get wet.Overall the umbrella works well to block the rain or sun from my little one when she is on the go. The biggest issue and the part that almost makes it not worth having is the clamp that holds it to the stroller. As a mom of 3 I have attached many different things to my strollers. Everything from sunshades, to bags, to fans and more. This umbrella has to have the worst clamp I have seen to date. It is hard to use and doesn't hold nearly as well I would have hoped. For this reason I don't think everyone will have success clamping it to a location on their stroller that will make it useful. So keep in mind when you are looking to purchase one. If you have very thin or very thick bars on your stroller I would probably look elsewhere. Read more

I got this for my wife’s electric wheelchair to help protect the elements while out. We live in Florida where we get random bits of 10 minutes rain daily and this has been a great product for that. It clamp securely to the bar you just have to tighten and loosen it up. The umbrella portion pops off for easy storage so you don’t have to keep clamping in on clamping it To the wheelchair. The umbrella folds small and compact and fits in the pouch of her wheelchair in the back. Prior to finding that she was using one of her arms to hold an umbrella and she really likes this product. Love this umbrella! You can clamp it several places on the umbrella. It took a minute to figure out how to clamp it. It is also big enough to shade or protect baby from the sun or rain. You can also put it so the person pushing can also be under the umbrella too. It has a bag to store it and easy to travel with. I also love the color. It can go with anything and won’t go out of style. You could also clamp it to a chair on the beach or while watching a game with your kids when it is hot. Fully adjustable to almost any angle. I have been looking for a good quality umbrella to put on my chair when I tan I like to have my face covered and not with the sun right on it. This umbrella is of good quality and it is made of good materials. I like how easy it is to install and uninstall. I also like that is comes with a cover for the umbrella and another cover for all the other parts. The umbrella itself has an average build, its not the best umbrella you can find for the price but it does come with the clamp you need. This umbrella basically clamps to a stroller bar or any bar to use it hands free. The clamp, clamps well enough with the tightening screws to hold the umbrella in place and the arm is positionable.Overall the umbrella is not the best of quality but does what its meant to just fine.
