Never have I had a product live up to the hype this much. When I saw the ad on facebook I was more than skeptical. When I saw the great reviews, I assumed they were paid. But no- I decided to try it anyway for a costume, because it was so cheap, and was properly gobsmacked.Instantanious, intense color change, which rinses out instantly in the shower. Some notes:RINSING- It is just as water-soluble as they say. Great in the shower, bad in the rain, so plan accordingly.STYLING- It doesn't affect your hair stiffness much, so if you have short hair like me I found tbe best method was to style first, allow products to dry, then add the color. Most hair styling products are water-based, so using them after application actually removes a lot of the color.HOLD- Once it dries, it stays. I wore it for a four-hour long event that I helped run. I was under a good deal of stress, running around and touching my hair. The color didn't come off on my hands or clothes, and stayed just as vibrant. I wouldn't trust it to sleep on a pillow without rubbing off, but beyond that, no questions. And even if it does get on fabric, see RINSING above. It comes right out.COLOR- The color was exactly what I wanted. I got silver, and it pulled through with metalic brightness. I have naturally very dark hair, and had light tips from a dye job that had partly grown out. It gave a nice silver sheen to both. The dark hair was definitely darker silver, but still, silver. Pretty good, ive got no complaints. At first it seems a bit thick and globs up. But i know my hair and it came out perfectly loose like i like it. If you arent used to wetter pomade i recommend a round brush, and plenty of hand runs, but its a really good product. Needs a more liberal application than others but how often will you use it? Id say enough for 20-30 applications. The only real downer is that the fragrance lasts at least 5 hours. Read more

I love it. It's wax so it was a bit tight and tacky when it was wet but once it dried, it was perfect. The pic in the upper left is my natural hair color. I've learned that for my texture my hair needs to be moist. I put it in the palm of my hands & rub it in my hair like conditioner. Holds color pretty well. I'lol definitely buy the other colors as well. It's fun for a temporary color change, and washes out ur hair and off ur hands with just water. Can't beat that. Read more

Love this stuff. Looks real! I’m African American with naturally curly hair. Stayed in my hair a full week but started to wear off after about 2-3 days. Works best if applied to damp (not wet or bone dry) hair. Will rub off on surfaces so be careful when sitting or laying down. I wore a scarf over my hair at night to protect my pillow and that worked. I’m ordering more colors. I ordered the gold originally. Read more

I saw an ad for this and had to try it. I have a bit of gray in my hair and wanted to see what the full head would look like and I loved it! When I first put it on my hands I thought I had made a mistake because of how it had looked in my hands but it covered my whole head (I keep my hair very short). A little water and hand soap and it came right off my hands (I thought it would stain). I was so tired last night and didn't rinse it out and I woke up and there was nothing on my pillows!!Want to be able to change your color, add streaks or patches of color, etc? Give these a try! Purchased product for my seven year old to look "100 years old" for school. Product arrived within a couple days. Tested product on myself first. Application was fairly easy. I did not notice any unpleasant smell. After drying product did not smear off on to clothes, pillows, etc. and stayed on all day (longer had I not washed my hair). Same story for my child. Worked as intended and I would recommend. I found a little goes a long way; however, if someone is trying to make a full head of hair completely gray more than one container probably needed. For a hair wax, it's pretty smooth and has a silky feel to it. Smells good. I am in the transitioning phase in growing out my natural curls, and it definitely showed up better on the curly part of my hair. Has little transfer, and doesn't leave hair crunchy. I am growing my dyed hair out to it's, now, natural gray. I am still experimenting with how to get the "salt and pepper" effect just right. Other reviewers seemed to have had naturally curly hair, which I believe, allowed them to get the effect much more easily. My hair is straight as a stick, but I have only had this a few days, and it seems to be doing the trick. I agree with other reviewers that it doesn't come off on the pillow and that it is easy to wash out of your hair. Read more
