My daughter just turned 10 and wanted to bleach her hair and dye it purple. As a compromise we opted for an all over glitter look for her party. The glitter gel worked perfect for her full curly hair! A sparkle in every strand! Then we put the left overs all over her face and arms and legs. She looked awesome! She was beyond happy and I was impressed with the quality! It lasted 2 days without a shower as she wanted to “keep her sparkle” I will say that the jar was completely gone because her hair is so thick but we wanted a very glittery look too. This stuff is great for everything. A light coat is good for just a hint of sparkle on your eyelids, or you can add more layers to really shine! Perfect for festivals and competitions! I have used this on 12 girls for a cheer competition and they SPARKLED! We had lots left too. I also used it for my daughters fairy costume and she looked great. So many compliments. I'm a huge fan of wearing glitter when I wear an outfit that shows my shoulders and back. I ran out and needed to find something and this one popped up. I will admit that the reason I bought it was solely based on the name. I mean Unicorn Snot? How funny is that? I absolutely love this product! I love the fact that the shimmer is very subtle (I'm not into looking as though I rolled around in the stuff) and it lasts a long time. In fact, I've woken up the next morning and there was still some on me.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who fancies a nice, subtle shimmer. Read more
I received the purple Unicorn Snot and I must say that I like it very much. I did however notice a big difference in the purple compared to the pink and gold. I received the pink and gold snot a couple of weeks ago and the gel is really tacky and applies in clumps rather than being able to easily spread on my skin as the purple is. It feels like the gel in the gold and pink is somewhat dry. I love the colors but like I said I really want to be able to spread it evenly on my skin but am unable to do so with the gold and the pink. Read more
This product looked all fun and games until I opened it... first of all I am not sure why I bought it in the first place but I assume I thought it would be fun to use on my hair, and I am wondering now anyone know what kind of effect alcohol has on hair? Because this product smells very strongly of alcohol, I doubt you can put this anywhere near your face the smell is obnoxiously strong alcohol I almost feel as if you were putting actual alcohol on your face, I don't even want to imagine what would happen if GOD FORBID this got into your eyes. I can only imagine if you actually wear this product on your hair how difficult it must be to remove and then there is no way it is not getting into your eyes if you do... and it smells so strong that I'm sure it's dangerous... I wish the pictures showed it’s true beauty but since it doesn’t I’ll just tell you the gold unicorn snot looks lovely on my Afro-Latina skin. The glitter shows just enough but not overly crazy. This will look great on giving any skin tone a shimmery sparkle for a night out, prom, or even day to day looks. The only thing...I ordered the gold because I wanted something to accentuate my bronzy glow, but the glitter in the gold snot is not all gold. There are some pink and blues from what I can tell. I bought this as a gift for a friend and we both really liked it! Packaging is nice and sturdy, with a good amount of product.The glitter is fine, so you do have to pack it on to get the colour very vibrant. The gel smells like glitter glue, almost like plastic, but the smell doesn’t last. Regardless, it’s not sticky and looks great on the skin and over makeup. Lasts until you easily wash it off.
