I can't believe one review wrote the box should be in English, duh they are only made in Japan so why would box be in English? Seriously one of the dumbest reviews I have read.I originally found Silcots in Japan last January and bought a few boxes, they are a former COSME winner they are that good. If you want a thin pad that doesn't suck up and waste product then these are excellent. Asian Beauty uses a lot of toners and essences which are thin and you can tell these pads are perfect for that. For example I love Labo Labo's Super Keana lotion for pores on my nose, I cut one of the Silcot's in half, put a few drops of lotion and apply to my nose for a few minutes.If you want the fluffy, run of the mill cotton pad then please don't buy these, you don't know what you are buying and will be disappointed.Also, I think the price is super fair, remember I bought these in Tokyo originally, so when I say the price for 5 boxes coming from Japan is super reasonable I think I know what I am talking about. In fact I am going back to Tokyo this January and while I will be definitely binge buying some of my beloved AB products, I won't buy these pads because I can get them with a reasonable mark up here at Amazon. I bought this sponge in Korea and fell in love with it. But this one from seller - TAKASHIMA is fake one. The sheets are soft but they get thiner and easily break down while using. I'm very disappointed ,but too bad, I bought 10 boxes and had them sent out of the country, can not make a return. This review is to help other customers. This is my second purchase of this five pack and I'd say I would purchase this product again after I'm done with this batch. I use this product for applying toner on my face. This has very good absorbency unlike regular cotton pads so it will actually use a lot less product and put more on your face. Also I soak the pads and leave it on my face like a sheet mask and it works very well for that purpose. Read more

The reason I don't like it is very simple. My skin is sensitive and I use it with toner and the texture of this pad hurts my skin. It feels rough. I don't think this is cotton at all. I would much prefer MUJI. Read more

This is a great product and it is definitely one of my favorite cottons I’ve used so far. If you never tried using spongey textured cotton, do give it a try. I have sensitive skin but because this holds so much moisture, it works great removing makeup and/or to use it as facial mask alternative with my favorite skincare line.I was bit worried about how the product would arrive looking at past reviews. My order arrived from CA to my house which is on east coast via USPS with product packaging fully intact. It was in a sturdy enough box which must have helped and it looked like it was handled gently. If you think about it, the seller can’t really do much about how USPS or other companies handle their shipments. So ultimately, it may become a game of luck. Which is unfortunate for sure, but again, not seller’s fault.This pack of 5 should last me about a year. I am grateful for the convenience this seller provided! Read more

These are the BEST cotton pads to use on your face!!!! I’ve been using it for more than 1 year and I usually stack them in my drawer. One time I ran out so I just used regular pads and it was disgusting lol It feels nice and it doesn’t leave that annoying pieces of cotton all over on your face.
