Just realized that this is WAYYYY overpriced. It is $4 per bottle at Walmart and Walgreens for the 7oz. bottle. Read more

I have very long hair (falls to mid-back) and I swim laps 3-4x a week. This shampoo is amazing at getting rid of the chlorine in my hair! (Because wearing a cap doesn’t prevent the hair from getting wet!) I was really happy that I found it on Amazon - previously I found it at Walmart and was my bottle was recently running low, and I didn’t want to have to go back to Walmart to get it. Fast shipping, and the caps were taped over to make sure nothing leaked en-route!Highly recommend for anyone who swims! I have dark brown hair, never dyed, so not sure if this helps blonde hair to not turn green due to chlorine.I swim in the evenings so I just put my wet hair in a bun after I shower (and I shower in the mornings); I wouldn’t want to use this if I started my mornings swimming and had to go about my day after using this shampoo, though, because it is a moisturizing shampoo (for obvious reasons), and I have very oily skin and hair, so I stay away from shampoos that exacerbate that issue. But since I don’t style my hair after using this, it’s not an issue for me, but might be for others who also don’t like using moisturizing shampoo.EDIT: I noticed on the back of the bottle it does say it helps with blonde hair not turning green, for any ladies who were curious about that issue.JULY 2018 EDIT: Another thing I wanted to mention is that this shampoo really does take the chlorine smell out of your hair! The shampoo itself doesn’t have a special scent - other than just a soapy smell.I attached a photo of my hair type for reference. I’ve never dyed my hair so I’m not sure how this shampoo would affect dyed hair. My hair is fine and naturally straight and the shampoo works great getting the chlorine out. Read more

I've tried so many shampoos to take the yellow out of my platinum gray hair to no avail. These were famous brands too. Then I started to go to the pool a couple of times a week and bought this stuff. Come Winter I stopped going to the pool and went back to using my expensive blue shampoos to remove the yellow with pitiful results. Then it dawned on me one day that the yellow might be froml the clorine in the water in our home. So, I decided to give this shampoo a try. What could I lose? Well, this is the best "anti-yellowing" shampoo available. It removed the harsh yellow from my hair and amazingly I don't even use conditioner now and my waist long hair is less tangled than ever. This product is outstanding and I am making it my only shampoo from here on. I wish I had known it would do this as I would have taken pictures but alas itis now to late to show my beautiful plantinum silver hair without the brassy yellow cast. Read more

My daughter's hair has been ruined this summer from swimming so much, she was in tears every time we had to brush her hair. We could not get a comb or brush through it unless we washed and conditioned her hair a few times in a row. We were told to try swimmers shampoo so I went on Amazon and got this and now her hair looks better and we can comb right through it with no issue. Read more

DO NOT BUY THIS SHAMPOO!!When I received this shampoo for my 3 children under the age if 10, I opened it up to see what it smelled like. It was an ok smell, but once I lathered and washed my daughter’s with it, the smell was overwhelming and smelled like a skunk or weed. I tried washing out the smell with other shampoos and conditioners, but the smell won’t come out.I am disgusted and disappointed in this product and am embarrassed for my daughter to be around people. I can smell her hair just be walking by her. The weed smell is so strong and nauseating.DO NOT BUY THIS SHAMPOO!!! Read more

This stuff is great and really works! Makes my fine hair soft with only one application after swimming! I don’t have to use conditioner. It smells fantastic. It is a little runny but works so good I don’t care. I swim 4 days per week with colored hair and no problems after using 2 months. LOVE THIS Read more

Love it, but it's a bit too liquid. It almost runs off my hand before I can put it in my hair! Read more

When I started swimming laps, my hair quickly became a haystack -- dry and brittle. I made some changes - first, I started swimming with wet hair and a cap. (This minimizes the chlorine uptake.) Next, this shampoo, which removes the chlorine and the chlorine smell. And finally, a good cream conditioner, which helps the hair to manage too many hours in the pool and in the sun. This shampoo is an essential part of that "keep the hair soft and shiny" project for me! Read more

It’s hard to find and always easy to get on Amazon. Worth waiting a couple of weeks for it. We swim everyday in the summer and my daughter is blonde so Ultraswim stops it from turning green and drying out. Great stuff! Read more
