Not the actual Ultima product. I am a long time Ultima user. I usually buy direct from the website and have never had a problem. Ordered from amazon & it looks NOTHING like what I order direct from Ultima. The color of the powder is off, the taste is off, the color when mixed it off, the label is off.Worst of all — I tested with a glucometer and the one from this amazon seller registers at 130+mg/dL of sugar! My husband and I both like Ultima better than several other hydration/replenishers we have tried. The flavor is great, the powder is not gritty in the water, it mixes nice with less settling than I have seen in other brands and best of all no fizzy bloating or belching like some of the others that fizz up in your bottle. I’ve started drinking electrolytes in the morning to hell rehydrate and energize me, and to get me ready to work out. Tried this brand because I have seen it around for a long time and the reviews were good. It’s basically fine, the flavor is okay and it does the job as far as rehydrating me and giving a little energy boost. But the powder kind of clumps up no matter how careful I am when I add water, and I have to smoosh the clumps with my finger to get them to dissolve. Haven’t had that problem with other electrolyte powders I’ve tried. It also has a weird aftertaste from the stevia. I was hoping the stevia would be minimal enough that I wouldn’t notice it but I do. So all in all it’s ok, gets the job done, but probably not a brand I would buy from again.UPDATE: I realized I was using only 8oz water when the package recommends 16oz. That makes a big difference in flavor and solubility. A vigorous stir gets most of it dissolved and I have gotten used to the flavor after a few days and no longer notice the aftertaste. I recently started my Keto journey and was “influenced” by @ketomadesimple to try this product. She steered me in the right direction!! This is my 4th jar/tub/container of Ultima that I have purchased. The flavors are EXCELLENT without an overly fake sugar taste! The product seems pricey but you seriously get 90 servings out of a small jar (or tub…or container) of this size. I’ve been using Ultima for a little under a year, love this stuff! Started using when I was doing Keto, but I still use it once daily even after. It’s sugar free but tastes good, and any time I have a dehydration headache this clears it right up! It is a little annoying that you have to keep stirring it as some minerals will settle at the bottom, but I honestly haven’t found a supplement that can beat this one. Pink lemonade is my favorite and my partner’s favorite is grape! We’ve also had the cherry pomegranate, regular lemonade and orange. All fine choices! Read more
