I had a ton of canker sores for a still unknown reason. Just woke up one day with a mouth full of them. They were incredibly painful and made it hard to talk or eat. I tried oragel, mouth wash, OTC pain relievers, and salt water rinses. Nothing helped. Until this. It totally numbed the area and the numbing effects worked long enough for all of us to have dinner and get food in my stomach before pain started hitting again. Thank God this arrived quickly! I suffer with oral planus lichen, an autoimmune disorder that can be extremely painful. Normally, I have few symptoms.
