I’ve been using the typical plastic wipe containers and just refilling it with more wipes (like any other person would). I was tired of the wipes not consistently dispensing thru the port and trying to pinch my fingers to fish for some wipes like my life depended on it. I tell ya... I have a boy so trying to be quick with diaper changes before he unleashes a golden fountain will seem like mission impossible. Also hated when the plastic containers were getting low.. you pull for a wipe and the whole darn container came with it! Found myself lightweight wrestling with a darn plastic box!Listen.. I dang wipe dispenser should NOT be causing any type of stress in your life.. ok I'm dramatic but it made changing a diaper harder than it should. So I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this in gray. I’ve literally only been using it for partial of today (6 diapers in) and I’M SOLD!!!! No more desperately grasping for wipes.. No more Stone Cold Stunner moves just trying to get a darn wipe.. Only complaint is I purchase the target brand sensitive wipes (92ct per pack) and only 3/4 of the pack fit in the dispenser... other than that HIGHLY RECOMMEND!MOMMY UPDATE: A year in on using this dispenser... I still love it! Currently using the Kirkland brand wipes and no the entire pack doesn't fit. Well, I mean.. the whole pack will fit if you smash them down in the container BUT the lid won't close down all the way. I love this dispenser. I like the look of it, it's sleek and clean looking. Also simple and easy to wash out. My favorite part is the weighted plate, it is genius. I make my own water wipes and this was perfect to store them in. The rubber gasket around the lid keeps it air tight, I do not have a problem with my wipes drying out. I also love that it has rubber grippers on the bottom of the dispenser so it doesn't move around on your dresser/table.To address the complaint of the lid doesn't stay open- I'm not sure about this issue because my lid stays propped open when I open it and closes tightly when I shut it.Nothing about this dispenser I don't like! I like that there is a weighted plate to hold down the wipes as you are pulling them out. I use this dispenser for damp cloth wipes under the plate and then put dry ones on top of the plate. The dispenser sat too low in my diaper caddy to comforrably lift the lid so I put a cloth diaper under it in the caddy and now it's the perfect height. I bought a second one so we have one on each floor of the house now. Read more

How did I not discover this until my third child!? This weighted wipes dispenser has absolutely transformed our diaper changes. They used to be SO stressful. I used to have to shake out wipes from a paper or plastic bag, only to have several wipes come out bunched together in a wad, rather than a single wipe that's open and flat, allowing me to wipe a larger area. And of course, all of that is happening with a squirmy, fussy toddler next to me.NOT ANYMORE! Now, I'm able to pull out one wipe at a time. This saves me money on wipes since I don't use as many. It saves me time because our diaper changes are so much more efficient, too! It's also safer, because I can keep one hand on my toddler rather than having to use two hands to pull wipes out of the package.The weight on top of the wipes helps separate the wipe on top from the rest of the stack. Before this, I'd have to use one hand to pull out a wipe and the other to hold down the wipes package so all the wipes don't come out at once. Now, the weight on top acts as your second hand. It's a game changer.The dispenser fits perfectly in my diaper caddy and I love that I can use my own wipes because sometimes I switch between different brands and this allows me to put whatever brand I want inside.I got the white color and it looks great with all the other colors in the room because it matches pretty much everything, plus it looks really clean.My only negative is that you have to make sure the top is closed when you're done. It doesn't fall closed on it's own and the wipes may dry out a bit when it's left open. There isn't a clasp or snap or anything that clicks when it's closed. It just rests on top. I haven't had any issues of dry wipes with the top down, though. :)If you're a bit apprehensive about the cost, consider how much you'll be saving in wipes and time. This is a very well made box, with a substantial (weighing about 300g) dispenser plate that keeps the tissues in place and ensures that only one is dispensed at a time. It's rather pricy, I feel, but it is very good quality.I use it for Andrex washlets and it works very well for these even though the box is intended for larger tissues/wipes - the weighted plate does a very good job in keeping the washlets in place. I've attached a photo so that you can see the relative size of the washlets and an unopened Andrex pack against the box. As other reviewers have commented, the box is deep enough to hold two (and probably 3) packs of Andrex washlets, but I just use one pack at a time. Read more

After looking everywhere for a suitable container to store flushable toilet wipes, I went for this as it was the cheapest option for a decent quality box storage box. The colouring doesn't scream baby products (which is great as my son is 18 years old) and because of the subtle logo, it sits on the shelf, by the toilet neatly, matches our colour scheme perfectly, and importantly it keeps 2 packets of wipes (with plastic outer removed) security thanks to with weighted section sitting neatly onto allowing the wipes to be dispensed one at a time. The small window in the front means you can see at a glance when the wipes are low. The lid also seems so be slightly weighted and had a soft lip all around the inner edge to seal the box, so the wipes stay 'wet'. £20 is a lot of money to be honest, but this will be easily cleanable, it's sturdy, well made, it's neat, unassuming and can sit quite discreetly in the bathroom. I wanted a dispenser for Dettol antibacterial wipes in my bathroom. This box fits the bill perfectly. I have now used the box to the last wipe and I have to say that every single wipe remained wet with no drying out at all. Inside the box is a weighted top which fits on top of the wipes and you pull the wipes through the aperture on this weighted top. The lid is easy to lift and stays open until you close it. Inside the lid there is a rubber edge which, when the lid is closed, seals the box to ensure that your wipes do not dry out. It sits on top of the cistern and looks good in the grey and white. The window on the front of the box gives you an idea of how many wipes are still available and when to refill. All in all a great dispenser at half the price of the Oxo model. Read more

At last I have a dispenser that works! For years I have been using cheap ones from the likes of Andrex and other Tissue/Wipes companies.I no longer have to hold the dispenser down with one hand whilst removing a wipe with the other hand as this has enough weight to hold itself in place on its rubber feet making it so much easier to use. For years after our children stopped wearing diapers we’ve kept the colourful wet tissue box in our bathroom. Simply because it’s actually quite comfortable and hygienic to have some wipes at hand. Yet, the baby tissue box never looked pretty and was a blemish on the soft tones of our fairly stylish bathroom. The old box also started to have issues with opening and closing. So I had a look for elegant alternatives, which wasn’t too easy. The point being that there are many wet tissue boxes available in the 4 GBP to 8 GBP price range. But these come from overseas manufacturers (ensuring many weeks waiting for delivery) and seem to struggle with airtight lid closure leaving the tissues at risk of drying out.This is a very sturdy dispenser box that looks neutral, even slightly stylish. Had never heard of the Ubbi-brand before but the product is of high quality and it has many thibgs going for it. First of all, the spring-operated lid closes properly due to its weight and rubber seal around the edges. Secondly, it is a heavy box due to the type and thickness of the plastic, but also because of the internal tissue cover that acts as a weight. This is important as it ensures that the tissues can be easily taken out with one hand and that the box remains in place (it was always a struggle with our former cheap plastic box to get a single tissue out without lifting the box). To give it more stability and to prevent sliding it has rubber feet as well. Also there is a ‘window’ that shows you how many tissues are left. Lastly, it is quite spacious, I could stow three packets of wet tissues on top of each other.So I’m very pleased and would highly recommend this wipe dispenser box even though it has a price tag that is 2x to 3x as high as the cheaper alternatives. In terms of small drawbacks; it has a light grey lid, that I expected to be white (no big deal for me). Moreover, it is somewhat sizeable, I’m sure there are more nimble dispenser boxes available that hold only a single pack of wipes. But again, the size is less of an issue for us.All in all, it was a small investment but it represented an overdue upgrade of our bathroom to us. Read more
