I just received the TYMO Hair Straightening Brush 2 days ago and I absolutely love it!!!!!!! My hair is thick and frizzy. I've done everything from chemical straigthenings, products, flat irons and circular brushes with a hair drying component. The hair dryer circular brushes took a long time and didn't always get my hair smooth. They also were very loud in my ears which I never thought was good. Chemical straighteners worked but were costly and probably unhealthy. When I received the TYMO Hair Straightening brush, I immediately took it out and used it on my dry hair. I loved the results.... smooth hair with body and not flat as with flatiron use. However, the real test was after a wash. I let my hair air dry and it was its usual unruly frizzy self. I then used the TYMO Hair Strightening brush for about 15 minutes and couldn't believe the results. The above pictures tell the story. I will be throwing out the flatiron and round brush hair dryers. Works great! Easy to use and quicker than regular straightener. Heats up fast. You will need to comb/brush out each section with a regular comb/brush and then use this Tymo brush and it will go through smoothly and your hair will be straight. Depending on hair type you will need to pass it through each section a couple to a few times but will a notice it working on first pass. I was able to get the roots without burning my daughters head. Her hair stayed straight for several days and she didn’t even wrap it at night. It probably would’ve stayed longer but she needed to wash her hair. Definitely worth purchasing! Read more

Update: BEWARE. Seller bribes customers to delete negative reviews. I bought this product because it had great reviews. When I wasn’t happy, I returned it and wrote an honest review. Since then, I have received 5+ emails from the seller offering $15-$50 dollars to delete my review.I really want to like this, but I am going to stick with a regular hair straightener. I have long, thick, wavy hair. My hair looked a little poofy and my split ends seemed a lot more noticeable after straightening with this. It worked well for the pieces of hair around my face though.I didn’t want to give a bad review because I’m sure it works great for other hair types, but It didn’t work for me. Also, the straightener I received was awful. I could see steam coming out of it when I wasn’t even using it. My hair would come off in the brush so it would burn in the brush and created a wonderful smell. The power button is near where you hold it so I kept accidentally turning it off while I was using it. It got to the point where I had to check to see if it was still on after every pass. Then I realized it would turn off when I wasn’t even pressing anything! Then when I was finished. I pressed the power button and it started turning the temperature down. I think I probably just received a defective straightener. Returned it after using twice. Read more

I haven't straightened my hair in a long while because it takes so much time. This brush straighens large sections of hair at a time which makes the process fast and easy. This product is simply the best straightening brush (iron). My first used and I loved the results. I loved the fact that I can brush my hair from the scalp/root without the concern of being scald unlike other flat irons I would have used prior. It doesn't dry out the hair either. I have very thick 4b hair which can sometimes be difficult to manage. After using this brush, my hair feels so much lighter, silky and easy to handle. I love my curly hair but it shrinks up so much. It's nice to see the true length of my hair. My hair feels and looks healthy and my hair colour is just brilliant. This product was thoughtful manufactured for my hair type... The media could not be loaded. I’m Greek, Russian Jewish and Brazilian. My hair is extremely thick stubborn. I actually was getting Japanese Thermal reconditioning since 16-28, I would get constant blow outs. I can’t blow dry my own hair. With the best most expensive brand professional straightening iron after my hair is dry it takes me about 3-4 hours to straighten my hair. I read all the reviews and compared top of the line ceramic brushes to mid, my type of hair sometimes is not conducive to these top of the line name brand products as they are formulated (most of them) for hair that isn’t ethnic.It took me days of research and I finally took a look at Tymo irons, frankly the price was almost too affordable but the reviews and videos and pictures of women with my texture hair sold me.If I can give 10 stars I would. This iron is everything promised and more. It straightened my hair in 30 min as apposed to my GK hair $280 professional iron and was so easy to use on the back of head, bangs, in fact i used Oribe hair texturizing spray, and that’s basically all. By far the best straightening brush I've ever bought! Heats up super quick. Takes minimal effort to smooth hair. I imagine there is far less breakage than using a straightening iron. Very happy with it and love the protective wrap around edges of 'bristles' so as not to burn the scalp. Read more

The tymo hair straightening brush does an excellent job of straightening my course curly hair. It also gives body and volume to my hair which is impossible to achieve with any flat iron. I also find it less damaging to hair than a flat iron.
