I love this gel! Affordable but good quality. It creates soft weightless curls. It had a lot of slip when applying and can applied to dry hair sparingly without creating a wet/crunchy look. It makes my hair look shiny and isn't heavy but provides great definition and eliminates frizz for 3a/b curls. Read more

I love the definition this gave me while also not being super hard and heavy and clumping my curls. I also used the curl primer. I am going to check out more of their products I am so satisfied! i am a hairstylist (but went a different career path) so, i still love fiddling around with hair. Mine is long and i have a lot of natural soft curls. I have gone through about 50 different products looking for the ONE that's perfect, not stiff, not sticky, doesn't weigh my hair down..just the perfect yet affordable product. THIS IS IT! I tried using this product back in july and was somewhat disappointed, it didn’t have the strong hold I needed for my frizzy, wavy hair in the Midwest humidity. However I liked most everything else about it and decided to hang on to it. When my regular gel ran out in mid September, I decided to give this gel another shot and I was much more impressed! I don’t need as strong of a hold in fall/winter due to the lower humidity, and I find this gel less drying than my normal one too. The scent is subtle and nice, not overpowering. I don’t know if this gel is the right choice for curlier girls than myself that require a strong hold, but it’s decent for my winter gel. Read more

It's just that: okay. It doesn't have a great cast and it really doesn't do anything for my frizziness. I live in central Texas, and so it's usually humid. I only realized after buying that this gel has glycerin, so that may be why it doesn't do anything for the frizz. Read more
