I have 1-year-old twins and have been tandem carrying them since they were 7.5 months old. We have a TwinGo original and now the air. We love both! We especially love the big pockets on the original model and I was a little nervous purchasing the air since I’d be losing my big pockets, but there is a pocket on the waistband big enough for an iPhone plus and there is a strap on the shoulder pad to hook keys! I am amzaed at how satisfied I am with my TwinGo air coming from the original model. It really makes a big difference in the Florida heat. I highly recommend the air if you plan on carrying outdoors. When the babies are old enough that you don’t need diapers and bottles everywhere you go-the air is good for any trip! We’ve been using it every day at least one time a day since we got it! Learning to use this product will require tremendous patience and resilience. Clearly, other users somehow got past that phase and have subsequently enjoyed using the carrier, but that was not my experience at all. DO NOT expect to unpack it and then just happily slip it on and use it on the day it arrives. Have a friend or family member help you, if possible. If not, just remember that it’s okay to cry. Be prepared to read and re-read the lengthy instructions over the course of several sittings. Their thoroughness is reflective of the fact that the product comes in several pieces and altogether includes countless straps, snaps, flaps, and other dramatic features. Between raising twin infants and working full time, there just isn’t the bandwidth to deal with this much 5-dimensional jigsaw complexity. I have been babywearing since my first was born in 2014 and have owned a variety of carriers. When I discovered I was having twins, I just planned on using two carriers I already owned. However, once my babies were large enough to tandem in said carriers, the bulkiness of overlapping shoulder straps and thick waistbands made tandem babywearing super uncomfortable and unenjoyable. Babywearing is a necessity to me, as I spend a good portion of my days ferrying my older children to and from school and running errands and need something fast and easy to stay hands-free. So, I looked for another solution and found it in the TwinGo.I opted for the TwinGo Air as I live in an area with high heat and humidity in the summertime and spend a lot of time outdoors. I found the lighter-weight structure, as well as the mesh panels, made for a much more all-around comfortable babywearing experience in warmer temps. I appreciate how the panels are removeable with the mesh underlay, so that you can transition into cooler seasons with the same carrier. The instruction manual provides clear and concise directions with multiple carrying arrangements, so getting a comfortable fit that works best for me and my babies is pretty effortless.I will be using this carrier almost daily until my twins outgrow it or no longer want to be worn, and I am beyond grateful for how much easier it makes wrangling four kids 4 and under. I can not say enough great things about this carrier. The Twingo Air exceeded all my expectations. It comes nicely packaged with detailed instructions. the carrier is well made and soft. I love that you can unzip a panel on each carrier to allow "air" flow when needed, and zip back up when you want to keep babies warmer. This is a great carrier for both hot and cold climates. This is a tandem carrier that has the option to be split Into 2 separate single carriers, so when both parents want to carry a baby this works! The straps needed for solo carry comes with. Both front and back carriers have pockets, big enough for phone and keys. Both have good sized hoods for when the twins want to take a nap! I just received my TwinGo Air, and I am in love!! TwinGo has given me the freedom to travel, run errands, and do life as a twin mom confidently! I love the breathable fabric and the colors! I was pleasantly surprised to find there’s a small pocket on the waistband big enough for some cash and my drivers license, so I can still run errands without dragging my giant diaper bag in the store. I can’t wait until it gets warmer, and we can wear this carrier on fun outdoor adventures hiking or to the zoo! I love that we can separate it into two carriers when my husband is home and then I can easily switch back to carrying them myself. In my opinion, a TwinGo of some sort is a MUST for any twin mom with little ones! This carrier would also work well for moms and dads with babies close in age. Read more

I bought this carrier when my twins were right at the minimum age requirement for the back carry - but so far, I just don’t feel confident that they’re quite ready for that. However, it separates into two awesome carriers and like other reviewers have said, they’re comparable or better to Ergobaby and other quality carriers. I use one of them daily for daycare drop offs and pickups (while carrying my smaller twin in her car seat). I have also used them on extended outings with another adult carrying one of the babies. I am so glad I spent the extra money to get the air version - the zip off panels are so smart and will definitely come in handy next summer. I am hopeful that my girls and I will be able to get lots of long term use out of this! Read more
